You want a compression top like this and for the gloves you need some military style D3-A gloves like these.

Greetings Team Kal-El, yes I might nerd out a bit.

Pretty excited to see some Super Hero action going on. I guess I will need to buy my first DC running compression shirt... I have a bunch of Marvel stuff.

If anyone needs support or motivation, let me know!

>Wearing one all the time (unless a lot thinner), honestly would be a big dealbreaker.

You not wearing one is a dealbreaker for people who aren't you. Also it's gross.

A rashguard can make you feel cooler since it wicks the sweat away from your body which removes heat, it just takes a bit to get used to wearing one.

These rashguards are thin, cheap, and last forever. I prefer them over my pricier name brand ones https://amazon.com/dp/B01MZ6QP0X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_Bre3DbJQADC80

Neleus compression shirts. By far THE best undershirts I have ever gotten. They are cheap and are of great quality. You can get 3 shirts for the price of 1 under armor shirt at the same quality. Worth every cent.

I wear these because I’m cheap and they work.

It'll change. When you're standing up, the fat is spread out and stretched. When you sit down, obviously less area means concentration of the fat. If you keep losing weight, there will be less to concentrate. So, though it'll still look bigger when sitting, it'll look less so.

I was at 250+ at my heaviest. Back then, I used to try on my clothes and see how they fit when I sat. So, I would put on an XL that was already snug. But sometimes I git just the right shirt that was snug but not too much, and it made me look almost like I was 10-15 lbs lighter. But then, when I sat, I looked like the michelin man. Uhg.

Anyway, I'm down 70 lbs now (as of today) and though I still have the problem, It's nowhere near what it used to be like. I mean, It's like I had to buy really baggy shirts just so that I could not look like a packed sausage when I sat down.

Try using compression shirts or shape wear. I use this compression shirt. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018IXG5GI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I buy it in the smallest size possible to get the maximum compression. good luck!

You can go a little bigger so that it isn't so much a compression shirt. I've also found most of my running shirts at Walmart of all places. Wore a deapool one for the superheroes run last year and a storm trooper one for the light side in Jan.

The sizing is a bit weird. Check the comments and maybe order two planning to return one.

For the Shell I'd sand it, prime it, then look up how to do a basic camo paint using leaves or twigs and spray paint. For the openings I'd just use EVA foam and PVC for the barrels and then paint it the same way. Might need to cut into the shell to slide the PVC for more stability. Goggles with a blue outline (maybe even paint the eyes on and wear them on top of your head instead of using them) would be my recommendation for the head, but it's your preference at the end of the day.

Also instead of a jumpsuit you could wear blue compression pants and a compression shirt along with a khaki vest and pants/short or BDU whatever. It'll be a lot cooler, temperature wise, compared to wearing a jumpsuit over something else.

Whats a good "base layer" undershirt? i want something that'll fit me relatively tightly so it wont "print" or anything under my tighter dress shirts. Theres a lot of things like this https://www.amazon.com/TM-R13-WHTZ-X-Large-Tesla-Compression-Baselayer-Sleeve/dp/B01ET1PZNM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483667281&sr=8-1&keywords=baselayer+shirt, but im not sure how hot it'd get in these (it gets pretty humid and hot here half the year)

Good luck!! I’m sure everything will go well, it’s a big build up with anxiety/nerves as you get closer, but there’s really nothing to worry about. The procedure and recovery aren’t nearly as bad as you think it will be.

In terms of tips, I’d say there’s no need to go crazy with things before the surgery, I’m pretty sure they prefer you taper down with the lifting/heavy exercise 2 weeks before. Also stop using any vitamins/supplements 2 weeks prior, and make sure they know of all meds you take.

The process is pretty standard, I’d say just make sure you get all the bloodwork done and paperwork/consents filled out more timely than I did (left myself rushing around a week before which didn’t help anxiety wise).

Definitely a few days before your date, make sure you have 3-5 compression shirts that are a size smaller than you normally wear. I’m an xl and bought 4 larges. You’ll wear these under your chest wrap/vest. The UA heatgear is working absolutely perfect so far so I definitely recommend these . Also stock up on a ton of Gatorade, the surgeon said it helps with recovery, and Tylenol extra strength. Stouffers mac & cheese, Tylenol and gatorade was my diet for day 0 & day 1.

I bought everything on amazon...

Decent rash guard for the money. Have lasted me 3 months at 3-5 classes a week (alternating between two) - they’ve still got plenty of life in them too. Figure I’ll get new ones in a few more months.

I don’t see the shorts I ordered... but they’ve got some decent ones for around $20USD

I have a sanabul essentials ultra light gi which I like and was around $60. I also have a Fuji all around gi which is quite a bit heavier and around $70. My next gi will be a venum - either the contender or challenger (not sure yet, but leaning toward the contender).

Also got a venum mouth guard for around $20

Edit: I started with everything except the Gis... bought one from my gym as my first for $120 - seems to be a good price for the quality of gi it is.

I use Tesla compression shirts. They're dirt cheap and just as good as whatever's on the rack at Under Armour for $35.
