OP, do yourself a favor and get one of THESE - a suction cup tool used to remove these bulbs. Makes it a lot easier.

Those sockets often come with a suction cup meant to be used to stick to the crystal of the bulb (when it's cool) so you can then twist and pull the bulb with the handle of the suction cup. (I assume this is a GU-10 type bulb/socket?)

If you don't have the suction cup that came with it, probably any window decoration one can be used in a pinch.

EDIT: something like these: http://www.amazon.com/Nora-Track-Light-NRS90-N20-Suction/dp/B002ZPD4R4/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt

It's on amazon begging for a first review.

You could install a line voltage monopoint track head.

This will allow directional control of the light.

Then, I would find a nice wrapped canvas piece of artwork. If you are into music, you could get a recreation of a music poster...maybe something like this Or you could do a canvas movie related poster.

But I would shy away from any piece of artwork or mirror that has reflectivity to it because the light will just create a reflection glare.

Basically, I would use this as a sort of shrine area to your favorite thing...be it music, movie, gaming, sports etc etc

If you're in the US that is not going to be code approved, what you need is a pendant track connector it can be used in a track, in a single base or in an extension.

So for example, this one for $11, and this one at $218.

The second one comes with a nice lamp, but that can't account for $200 worth of difference...

I actually just started reading all the amazon reviews and I think the GU10s are probably too long to fit into the fixtures. I'm now looking into replacing the track heads to take the standard A19 bulbs. These or these looked like they might do the trick.

Overhead track lighting with spotlights is the standard way to do this. It will illuminate it nicely without glare for the viewer. You will need to be able to aim/rotate your lights because your track light install wont be centered on poster.

Something like this:

If you are looking for more of an exotic effect you could use a wall washer fixture. This will give a different effect that can alternatively increase/decrease details of the picture. You would probably mount it slightly above the poster on the wall and need to be able to aim it to get the light mostly on the poster. Something like this could work:
