Hodinkee is great blog for watch content, but the collabs and products they sell are too overpriced to me. Especially when they were selling this hour glass for 12k. Lmao
The budget approach is a cigar box and some microfiber cloths.
A nice valet tray also works. You can find cheap ones on amazon, or you can go to etsy for some nicer leather or wood ones.
Some mid-range boxes are this 6-piece Wolf box or this 10-piece one. Whatever you do, don't get a box with magnets in the lid or elsewhere. If you search amazon, you can find lots of cheap alternatives.
If you really want to go all-out, you can get some nice custom wood boxes on etsy, like these. However, less-expensive options also exist there.

The BP looks good, 2824 is a real workhorse and if anything happens to it, it's easy enough to have someone swap in a real 2824. Good choice! Ryan's a great guy, too.
My one suggestion would be that if you're going to get more watches, pick up an actual watch box or folio-style case so that you can store them all together and look over them to figure out what you want to wear -- having rep boxes for every watch can be neat in the beginning but they're just big.

Another forum member had one and it was just what I needed. For the price it's great, the only problem I'v had so far is the zipper tends to get stuck so you just have to be a little careful when closing it. But definitely worth it :)

As someone who's also recently into watches, I found out you don't really need a winder. There's nothing wrong with letting the watches stop apart from the inconvenience. Also, here's the box I purchased.

It's This guy on Amazon. It's cheap and functional, I kinda wish I had a drawer, but I got it for christmas, so I can't complain there. Also, the pillows seem a tad too large, my bracelets really have to squeeze to be secured, and getting the leather straps to sa on when I'm putting them in is a real pain in the ass.
But for $15, it provides a good looking safe place for my collection, and sits nicely on my nightstand.

The only real complaint I have about it is that I'd like the pillows that hold the watches to fit more tightly in their slots. As it is, they're free to move around a bit .

I've got several of these from Amazon. Inexpensive and they look nicer than they should be for the price. They can hold some of my larger watches no problem. I also have a Brookstone winder for the autos I switch out for daily wear for more than a few weeks.

for $16 it's pretty nice. the outside finishing is a faux carbon fiber look, which I'm not a fan of, but it at least looks decent.
the hinge thing seems fine, it's fairly flimsy, but it locks securely. it does jet into the case a bit, so if you have larger watches it might hit them in the far left spot (this is where I keep my beater casio)
the front locking clasp immediately "broke". it basically has 2 buttons on either side of the latch that you have to squeeze together to release, well, usually only one is working. no big deal because I CAN get both to work, but rarely need to lock the box.
the glass is fine. no issues there.
the inside is actually really nice. pillows and dividers are rigid, but they are all covered in soft fabric. I have no reservations putting any type of watch in there, let alone my budget collection.

Songmics has a bunch of different setups...though It'll be hard to fit inside a drawer. this one didn't fit in my drawer, so it lives on my dresser.
I went with the 6 slot because I doubt I'll ever have more that that...plus the extra storage on the right side is nice for all my straps.

Thanks to amazon being so awesome I was able to return it for a full refund but I'm still waiting to hear from the seller as to whether or not they will be sending me a new one. Otherwise, the box was pretty good and just as described. I like the extra compartments to the right because I was planning to use it store extra bands and bracelets and stuff. Pretty upset that the glass was cracked, I just hope they send me a new one.
