It sounds like you have not actually ordered yet, so here's a suggestion for Bluetooth earbuds:

Anker Soundbuds Slim are very similar to the ones you are looking at, but they support aptX HD (So they will sound better and have lower latency) and are cheaper. I have the Soundbuds Curve which feature a slightly different design. They are super comfortable and sound great, so I expect the Slims will work just as well. Lots of people recommend both styles in any thread asking for Bluetooth suggestions.

I really like this wall charger. Bluetooth headphones that charge via USB-C are basically non-existent, so this lets me charge the accessories while also charging my phone at full speed.

The Whitestone Dome is good, but they have awful customer service if you have any issues. Especially since you are going through a forwarder, taking weeks to get a resolution if you have an issue might be a deal breaker for you.

Here are some accessories I use and love.

Cables:

[6' long USB A to C](http://www.Anker.com/ PowerLine+ USB-C to USB 3.0 cable (6ft), High Durability, for USB Type-C Devices Including the new MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nokia N1 Tablet, OnePlus 2 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LNAAEJ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_SD1PybKFCP918)

[6' long USB C to C cable](http://www.Anker.com/ PowerLine+ C to C 2.0 cable (6ft), High Durability, for USB Type-C Devices Including the new MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, OnePlus 2 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LNA0XCU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mG1Pyb59S4SK0)

Charger:

[5 port (1 C and 4 A) charger](http://www.Anker.com/ USB Type-C 40W 5-Port USB Wall Charger, PowerPort 5 for iPhone 7 / 6s / Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini, Galaxy S7 / S6 / Edge / Plus, Note 5 / 4, LG, Nexus, HTC and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0196JFWXK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_JH1PybWXH9ZMT)

That 5 port charger has been amazing. It is routinely use to charge a combination of my daughter's tablet, my Pixel, my wife's iPhone 7 Plus, my Xbox One Controller, mine and my wife's Kindles, and random devices from visitors with no problem. It has charged tablet and both phones simultaneously without any issue and at a very normal rate. I also use my OEM wall charger in the bedroom and the OEM Nexus 6P charger for travel.

Cases:

[Caseology Paralac](http://www.Google.com/ Pixel Case, Caseology [Parallax Series] Modern Slim Geometric Design [Black] [Textured Grip] for Google Pixel (2016) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M4HN5XV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_iL1Pyb58J56Y8). This is my work case ( I work 7 days on and 7 days off so I use it every other week) and feels and looks great but isn't as thin as I'd prefer. I generally prefer no case or just a dBrand skin.

This is my home/out and about case. [The Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear.](http://www.Spigen.com/ Ultra Hybrid Google Pixel Case with Air Cushion Technology and Hybrid Drop Protection for Google Pixel 2016 - Crystal Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LX6CDHG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6M1Pyb6KC420F)

Honorable mention if you want the thinnest case (note: This case won't fit over a dBrand skin.) [Niilken Nature series. ](http://www.Google.com/ Pixel Case, Nillkin Nature Series Clear Soft TPU Case Back Cover [Ultra Thin] [Slim Fit] for Google Pixel - Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N8VGLYK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_DO1PybYSP36XD)

I also found these [Yootech glass screen protectors](http://www.Google.com/ Pixel Screen Protector [5.0"] [2-Pack] [Update Version],Yootech Google Pixel Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MPY1RPC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_oP1Pyb5Y22PEZ) to be more than good enough but they cover screen only and not full front (supposedly due to the subtle curvature of the fines edge).

Of course you can never go wrong with a nice dBrand skin for that finishing touch.

Hope this helps.

I don't like the design as much as some of the more minimal cases, but it has good grip / protection (a rubbery kind of material that seems like it would protect vs a drop) and doesn't have a problem with pressing the buttons like another case I tried had.

I also got a phone ring to attach to the case which I really like. I have a magnetic mount in my car and it is also really convenient for holding the phone in one hand.

u/thebadshah · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I ended up getting the spigen rugged armor. It's amazing, I absolutely love it so far, 2 months in. Haven't dropped my phone once cause it feels nice and easy to hold. It's not bulky and fits in my pocket nicely! I recommend it.

Pixel 3 XL cases on Amazon & w/ Amazon Prime for $15<

u/tigercranestyle · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

x-level case from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Google-X-Level-Mobile-Guardian-Protective/dp/B076BJG8YF

i got the black one. not clear.

not as slim as peel, but close. better material. thinner than the pixel silicone case. it says tpu, but it doesn't feel like it. feels like the apple-branded silicone case (rubbery, but without the lint problem). it fairly grippy and good fit. great button feedback also.

don't think you'll be disappointed.

u/Naughty_Taco · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

Agreed, I use the Ultra Hybrid Clear and love it. Great case; slick, protective, and shows off my awesome blue Pixel!

u/deusxanime · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

While it isn't USB-C, much less PD, I use this Anker car charger along with an official Google OEM A-to-C cable (assume it would work with other cables, but just saying what I use), and it keeps up just fine. I use it on trips where I have Waze running and music playing over BT with screen always on, and it gains charge all the way to 100% and maintains just fine.

Like everyone else here though, I would like to also have a proper C-PD car charger for even faster charges on short trips where I just want a top up.

u/CaptainMudwhistle · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

It's a good phone. Very nice camera and everything is speedy. It's stock Android, so you don't have lots of junkware and ads and stuff you get preloaded on other phones. A good device that should last a few years.

Also, I'd recommend this case to go with it:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H5S33FL

It doesn't add much bulk and has a good texture.

u/za-ra-thus-tra · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I use the Spigen. It protected my OG pixel from numerous short falls (<5 ft). Their glass screen protector saved my screen three or four times over, just replaced it. Had my phone a year.

I've steered clear of otter because of its size - the Spigen case adds very little width but definitely protects from drops. It's not sticky, but it isn't going to slide out of your pocket either. I recommend it!

Here's the Pixel 2 version of my case: https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Rugged-Google-Resilient-Absorption/dp/B07471C38C/

Hi there! here are some suggestions for power banks that satisfy any needs you can have for the purpose of charging the pixel line and like devices

I highly recommend these ones because I have had experience using these and feel they check all my boxes. That is, they support USB Power Delivery (PD) and Qualcomm Quickcharge (QC), and in effect rapidly charge all my devices that support fast charging:

[Jackery Power Bar] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076DXWPHS/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1)
This one is my favorite because it also has an AC outlet to charge most U.S. laptops. It is so freaking convenient for studying on my computer on the go.

[iWALK Power Bank] (https://www.amazon.com/iWALK-20000mAh-Portable-Delivery-Nintendo/dp/B078NSC4QG/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&qid=1520746914&sr=8-22&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

Here are some that I have not owned, but after research seem to be worth recommending (of course, do your own analysis). I believe all three of these support USB PD and Qualcomm QC:

[Anker PowerCore] (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh-Portable-Delivery/dp/B071WNWRNC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1520744694&sr=8-4&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

[Auckly Portable External Charger] (https://www.amazon.com/Portable-External-Auckly10000mAh-High-Speed-Charging/dp/B0785K8WSB/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1520744694&sr=8-5&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

[Aukey Power Bank] (https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-26500mAh-Portable-Delivery-Nintendo/dp/B071CQYBSN/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1520744694&sr=8-8&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

Here are some that I am skeptical about for different reasons, but they did catch my eye while researching:

[PURIDEA Power Bank] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0794V63VJ/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B0794V63VJ&pd_rd_wg=OQUVw&pd_rd_r=42A3W5CMQPF2VADS872F&pd_rd_w=NlRw8)

[RAVPower Portable Charger] (https://www.amazon.com/Portable-RAVPower-20100mAh-Transfer-Smartphones/dp/B0156HCJQO/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1520744694&sr=8-13&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

[ZeroLemon Juicebox Portable Charger] (https://www.amazon.com/ZeroLemon-USB-Type-Portable-Charger/dp/B071HQFYRR/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1520744694&sr=8-19&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

Let me know if you have any questions. Disclaimer: I am not associated with any of these products.

I have no experience with speck, but my Spigen Tough Armour has taken a beating and completely lived to tell it's tale. The rubber and hard shell are not fused together (I believe they make some that are).
My XL has survived many falls from waist to shoulder height landing on concrete with no issue. Sure the case is scratched up pretty good, but the phone is in as good condition as the day I bought it, brand new.

My only beef with the case is lint/dust will collect around the camera hole and need to been cleaned every few weeks or so.

u/huskerpat · 7 pointsr/GooglePixel

I ordered 3 clear ones for my white. Wasn't sure what I wanted.

I have the Spigen Tough Armor and Spigen Crystal ShellI love how they feel in the hand. Now I did just receive them in the mail but I really would recommend them. The tough armor is a little heavier but very protective. The crystal shell very light weight and grips nicely.

u/primus76 · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I can tell you that I have dropped my Pixel and Pixel XL many, many times. Both have the [Tough Armor by Spigen] (https://www.amazon.ca/Google-Pixel-Spigen-Tough-Armor/dp/B01LWUM7TT/ref=sr_1_3/146-7382141-0772317?ie=UTF8&qid=1503077303&sr=8-3&keywords=spigen+pixel+xl)

I can't recommend them enough. I find them slim enough too. I would recommend a Spigen XL glass protector as well. They are NOT edge to edge. I have gone through 2 already and they are about 11$ CDN for 2. The spigen glass was cracked but under it was spotless.

The bonus of the Spigen one I have is that it has a pocket for the bottom speakers and angles them forward so sound is more front facing than without a case.

Edit: I'll post some pics in a few moments hopefully.

I got these cheap ones until I find a better option like the Whitestone Dome.
Honesty I've had one of them on for the past two weeks and have had no issues at all - there's even four of them and it's super cheap.

I have this spigen case on top of my dbrand skin. You can still see the skin well and I even have the second piece that covers the glass stacked on top of the first skin. I would recommend using a second piece over the glass since it seems to create a better seal around the fingerprint reader to keep junk out. picture here.

I always get the Spigen clear cases for all my phones. They work very well and are easy to take on and off as needed.

They can't compete with the price of normal headphone makers? That's also in Canadian dollars, so it's even more absurd that you would make that claim. That's a 4.4/5 rating on 431 customer reviews. Also, please explain what the difference is between "removing a feature" and "not a separate feature"?.

My analogy is perfectly relevant, you're just butthurt because people aren't agreeing with your post telling them how to spend their money based on your preferences. Why did you delete the original post, anyways?

u/ItsValor · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I just got this Anker C to C and love it! It fast charges just like the one that comes with the pixel 3. The cord is also really good quality!

u/faz712 · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I was hoping slim case would actually be slim, but that's huge... might as well use the free fabric case.

Just using this random actually-slim case just for scratch protection.

u/zack2491 · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

I've got a Spigen Rugged Armor on my P2 with a Whitestone Dome and it fits great. The adhesive used with the Whitestone will fill in your scratches and it'll look perfect again.

u/Jd10101 · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

I bought a Spigen case from Amazon UK and I really like mine. Flexible, cheap, and has protected my Pixel 3 like crazy (multiple drops and falls)

u/troyrad · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

It physically pains me to use a phone in a case, but accidents happen. As a case-hater, I've been happy with this one (it's TPU): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H5S33FL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good protection without being too bulky. I've already dropped it in the case from shoulder height without any damage to the case or phone.

u/arisreddit · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

Anker on Amazon sells car chargers with 2-4 ports to which you can plug in multiple phones and charge and normal speed (2.1 amps) which works well for me.

Something like this:

Anker 24W Dual USB Car Charger, PowerDrive 2 for iPhone 7 / 6s / Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini, Galaxy S7 / S6 / Edge / Plus, Note 5 / 4, LG, Nexus, HTC and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VH84L5E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_MSs4ybG482YXE

They have an 18 month warranty which is also really nice.

u/deftdrummer · 3 pointsr/GooglePixel

Yep, I have an idea if you're willing to spend $8 to rule it out.

You need to purchase a Ground Loop Noise Isolator which you can then try with each of your various devices.

If none of them exhibit static at that point, then you've determined that indeed there is some faulty grounding or shielding in the components of the phone. At that point it's time for a return to Google if you can under warranty.

If you don't have static with the one pair of headphones that tells me the components are solid in that pair. The other components may be the weak link but you need to rule out the phone first.

The ground loop noise isolator also has self evident uses wherever else you may have this problem. I use one in my car for example.

Good luck.

u/pankake51 · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

Second the Anker soundbuds. I have the Slim's and they're fantastic, and have a smaller, more traditional look and feel. They're very comfortable over long periods of time. They're at the same $25 price tag too.

Edit: Link to the soundbuds slim.

u/LAZER-RAGER · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

Links to the Anker PDs for the lazy:

10,000 mAh ($45.99)

20,100 mAh ($99.99)

26,800 mAh ($129.99)

I personally have the 10,000 mAh for my Pixel 2 XL. My phone already lasts all day with my current usage and this battery bank can charge it almost three times over while still being small enough to fit in my pocket. It comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, and the battery itself can also be charged via your everyday phone charger. PD means it's capable of fast charging (verified by the "charging rapidly" notification on my lockscreen. I used it to camp at Paradiso this year (two-day music festival) and it was perfect.

The other two are overkill, but they seem handy for charging all your friends' devices and laptops on week-long trips.

u/Firehooligan · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

Going off of Nathan & Benson charts, I just ordered these:

[AUKEY Car Charger] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LGO9LE4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
and the
[OEM USB-C to USB-C Cable] (https://store.google.com/product/usb_type_c_usb_type_c)

I'm really trying to protect the battery on my Pixel since this is the first time I've have a non-removable battery in a long time. I hope the do the job and do it well, being as though this is the most I've ever paid for a car charger before.

u/OhSnapItsPaul · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

Edit: I have the same case but for the regular pixel and I love it.

u/freealitee · 0 pointsr/GooglePixel

Get a Bluetooth adapter for the aforementioned aux port. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NLTW60/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_nMpWBPsncdEok
This is one that supports aptx, works well, has pass through cig lighter cord with USB port built in so you don't need to worry about battery. Might want to get this as well, depending on how well your stereo is grounded. I experienced weird buzzing but my aux jack is soldered (by me) to my tape input, so I'm not surprised there was issues. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019393MV2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_GwFAL9sbYR2Z4

Anyway that's like $40 to turn your car stereo into fancy and not have to fuck with the aux cables again (which for me were always wearing out anyway.)

I have quite a few:

MNML (original & updated versions)

Vinve clear TPU

Maxboost

Spigen Thin Fit

Spigen Liquid Crystal

Spigen Rugged ARmor

Nillkin

Bear Motion

My absolute favorite of the bunch and the case I keep going back to is the Bear Motion. Those white specs in the pics aren't nearly as visible in person and the become even less visible over time.

If I'm doing anything where I think dropping my phone is a possibility I sport the Spigen Rugged ARmor.

u/marcosabruna · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I recommend waiting for a sale on the Anker Powercore Speed 20000 PD + 30W PD Wall Charger bundle, I got it for $60 a few months back. Gets me about 5-6 charges on my 6P, charges rapidly, and having an additional wall charger + cable has been really nice. Anker makes top quality stuff and it's a really good deal if you can hold out for the sale price.

u/SuperdudeAbides · 4 pointsr/GooglePixel

u/Darthwars · 12 pointsr/GooglePixel

For cases, I would stick with something like Spigen.

I've had this case since I got my phone back in November and it's worked wonders.

I don't really know if other cases offer protection like this, but even when I had a similar spigen case on my previous Samsung S6, I didn't seem to get any screen cracks or any wear and tear, on the screen atleast, with these cases.

I'd get into my car with shallow pockets holding my phone in them, my pixel 2 xl would slip out straight onto concrete. The worst damage is probably some scratching on the corners of the case. Other than that, the phone came out perfect.

Another bonus I guess is that it's not overly bulky and keeps the slimness of the pixel 2 xl, which I like a lot about it.

I can't recommend it enough tbh.

u/doughboykilla · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

That's the CC-Y7, which (on the US amazon site, anyway) the top review is from /u/Nathan-K with one star and a huge post about why. I'm technical enough but not a practiced electrical engineer, so I can't follow every reason he has, and I know it's a contested opinion (review comments show that as well). Here's a link to the US version with the review.

I almost bought that one anyways, actually, because I'm inclined to trust Aukey over most brands, but that stopped me. Just want something made right and that I won't have to think/worry about.

u/nova_ruby · 10 pointsr/GooglePixel

Add another vote for Anker; I use them in both of my vehicles. I've had good luck with this one: Anker 24W Dual USB Car Charger, PowerDrive 2 for iPhone 7 / 6s / Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini, Galaxy S7 / S6 / Edge / Plus, Note 5 / 4, LG, Nexus, HTC and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VH84L5E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_G4RVzb0V108K5

u/PreachInsanity · 4 pointsr/GooglePixel

Car charger I highly recommend just getting an Android Auto head unit. Spendy, but so worth it. Best buy has one on sale for their deal of the day for $300.

For a power bank, I have this and travel a lot. $10 coupon on Amazon ATM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071WNWRNC/

It comes with a wall adapter, uses usb c port to charge, and has USB PD (fast charges both the bank and your Pixel).

Since it charges with usb c you only need 1 power adapter and cord when traveling to charge either your phone or battery bank.

u/uecker87 · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I do, but it is this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VCJHS76/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So it doesn't block any of the sensors and my phone is always unlocked as soon as it starts scanning. Not the best screen protector, but it is a 4 pack and works until some better reviews come out.

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

Bought the Omoton 3 pack on Amazon. Very happy with it. The protector does not cover the sensors on the forehead if that matters to you.

u/robbierob89 · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I have 2013 Cruze with Bluetooth phone support but no audio. I use a dongle similar to this one along with this (cuts out humming noise). Setup works great, music runs through the adapter and phone calls come in through the car's built in Bluetooth. My OG XL Pixel auto connects to both when I start my car.

Personally, it's been okay--it only gets in the way when I use the phone in a car without Bluetooth connectivity.

Keep in mind though, if you want to charge the phone at the same time, you'll need a dongle (like the Moshi one) as well as a car charger with PD like this Anker one). That's my current setup and it works well--I get fast charging instead of a trickle charge/slow drain and the audio works fine.

u/alexanderwept · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I can't say for sure because I don't have a tempered glass screen protector (I don't have a screen protector at all because I am a glutton for punishment, I guess). But this one has been in my Amazon cart for about four months. I've heard REALLY great things about its ease of application and quality - probably why its pushing $50.

I actually just ordered the Whitestone Dome Glass protector. It's pretty much the only non-matrix tempered glass one that has good reviews. Pretty highly recommended from Reddit people. It costs quite a bit and installation is a bitch but kinda worth it for a $950 phone I suppose.

I'm using the Spigen Liquid Crystal and I'm super happy with it, so it's weird that yours yellowed. No scratches or scuffs and no signs of yellowing (I've had it since day one).

Did you contact Spigen when your previous one yellowed?

I just picked up a few cases, and decided to try this Spigen Ultra Hybrid one. like it a lot so far, but as with all these clear cases, time will tell if it starts to take on color from my jeans.

This one

It's definitely thicker than their hard plastic thin fit cases.

I ended up going with this model: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WNWRNC/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has Power Delivery which will let me get the rapidly charging. It was a toss up between that and the PowerCore+ 26800 and I ended up picking the cheaper for now. I read the PowerCore+s have better build quality and alledgedly charge faster (the battery, not the phone) and there was great internal debate and I ended up with the Powercore Speed. I got an official Anker case to store it in too for when I carry it in my man purse with me when I'll be out and about which helped in the decision. I don't treat my electronics poorly, but if it's in my bag it is going to get some movement.

u/SPQTiberia · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

I bought this [Spigen](Spigen Google Pixel Screen Protector Case Friendly / Tempered Glass / 9H Hardness for Google Pixel - White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N759RXF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_rZuMzbQW80KV2) one. It has color so when it recently was broke at the edges I was worries and smashed my screen but no it protected it just fine. No scratches or dings and when my phone was dropped it kept the screen safe.

u/likrevo · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

The charger is way more important with USB C. I personally wouldn't buy a USB C car charger . I would use a anker charger like this and just get about 2.0 amps charging with stock Pixel USB A - C cable.

I use the Anker Soundbuds Slim, although solely for the gym instead of a daily driver. They're a decent budget BT earbud option for me.

  • Decent battery life (6-7 hours)
  • Lots of accessories (different sized tips, hooks, a case, clips)
  • Lightweight
  • Magnetic tips

As long as you can get a good seal in your ears, it's a solid pair.

It's really thin and flimsy and none of the holes line up. But you can pull from the sides of the screens. I've bought a few cases from amazon and pretty much all of them didn't even fit the phone.

u/Treshy · 3 pointsr/GooglePixel

this one I have been using it for months and it is GREAT. absolutely no problems.

Running belt and Bluetooth headphones! My gear:

You clearly have formed an opinion on Bluetooth headphones. Give these a shot. I've burned through a dozen pairs and I've landed on these and won't change. They have better sound than a lot of headphones I've used. I was blown away when I heard surround sound.

Wired headphones are annoying. Many come with clips so you can attach the wire to your shirt to reduce bouncing around.

I've never had any luck with arm bands. That waist belt is simple and cheap. Holds my phone and keys very well with no jostling.

>The question is, is it safe enough to just have the dbrand skin with screen protector that covers the entire screen?

Skins will only protect against scratches. Dropping a phone with just a skin will result in typical drop damage, which includes broken screens, protector or not as there is no buffer to take the force that a case gives.

If you want protection, get a case. If you want protection and show off a skin. There are a few cases out there that might interest you. Like the Ringke Fusion and the Spigen Liquid Crystal for example. There are some others out there too.

I got these the other day, cheap for a pack of four and they cover the entire display while still leaving enough space for a case.

Leaves the top cameras/face unlock/Soli unprotected however, but I’ve found screen protectors that cover this portion tend to get dust underneath or make picture quality worse.

Would definitely recommend these.

Anker also offers a lower cost PD charger where the PD port maxes out at 18W vs the 30W of the one your cited, which should be fine for OP if the only thing he'll be charging is his phone. The higher output version would make sense if they planned on using it to charge tablets, laptops, or Switches.

Normal with screen protectors on curved glass, because they only have glue on the sides. You would need one of those full screen uv glue kind of tempered glass to get rid of it. There are some expensive ones on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Dome-Glass-Protector-Dispersion-Whitestone/dp/B078JR1HTN but you can find them cheaper on ebay/alieexpress.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H5QSDW5/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_Q5oCDb5PT3B2T
It's really nice and light but the edges are raised slightly and they have a little point to them so it's really annoying when doing the back gestures. I'm hoping to find one that doesn't have this problem.

u/nosut · 5 pointsr/GooglePixel

I got the Dbrand Matrix skin to try out(never used a skin before and want to see how it feels) and a Spigen case.

u/echopraxia1 · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I was going to get one of those until I noticed the top and bottom edge are exposed. Seems like a disadvantage but I'm not sure how much I'd notice it in real life. I ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor instead which is a one-piece flexible TPU case (haven't received it yet). It can't support the metal plate though. I guess I could always put it directly on the back of the phone if I need to.

u/ns713 · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

The intelliarmour pro (black XL version) should have a colored border, either black or white. This should prevent you from seeing the halo where the glass doesn't stick. You could also buy the Spigen full coverage (white 5" version) which also has the colored border to prevent the ugly halo. They both have minor defects but are really good overall. The Intelliarmour cuts off a slight bit of the screen on all 4 sides while the Spigen doesn't actually have adhesive the screen portion which sometimes gives you a rainbow bubble under the glass. The Spigen's defect is fixable by slightly lifting the edge for a second while the Intelliarmour's defect is not fixable and very noticeable with certain apps. I personally use the Spigen.

u/2defmouze · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

YMMV - but the Neo Hybrid case is the only case I've ever had a phone in when it dropped and screen shattered. I would never use a Neo Hybrid again. The hard portions around the border actually make drop damage much harsher on the underlying phone.

I strongly recommend the Spigen Rugged Armor if you like the general look and feel of the Neo Hybrid. I've had my last 3 phones in Rugged Armor's and dropped plenty of times with zero damage.

Just my thoughts and experience.
