They are made of similar types of glass but the thickness and curve will be different. Front wind shields are made of laminate glass and the rest of the windows are made of tempered glass. Also, a fixed and curved glass will have significantly more structural integrity than a movable flat one.

It only looks like it comes apart easily because the method used to break it could only be accomplished with a partially open window. With regards to the safety in breaking auto glass in emergency situations I highly recommend having one of these in your glove compartment:

Aye, this just reminded me of a book I just finished reading. It's called Sergeant Rex and it's about a military working dog and his handler, Mike Dowling and their experiences when they were deployed with the USMC in Iraq. Very good read, if you're a dog lover and interested in military books, I suggest anyone and everyone to check it out. It's given me a whole new appreciation for working dogs and just dogs in general.

Just be aware that fake-but-hilarious amazon reviewing is a thing today. There's a billion of them. This could be real, though. Funny if it is, tho also sad. But decent chances it's just a joke.

You don't know much at all about gun safes, do you? Hell no I'm not leaving my gun around where my kids can get it. But, you're right. I do need to access it very quickly.

Here's what any respecting home protector will use. You see, I (AND ONLY I) can access it almost as quickly as if it were just lying around. But, you see. Only I can access it.

It's clear you don't like guns, but I urge you to go take a handgun safety class. You'll really get a lot out of it, and it might demystify some aspects of gun safety for you. Gun safety is not only practiced when guns are in the room or in the hand. Gun safety matters from the time you buy the gun to the time you get rid of it. I'm not even suggesting buying one, nor am I trying to convert you. You just seem really misinformed.

You're a fucking idiot.

You have nothing but ignorant assumptions that are mostly incorrect. You really sound like an awful human being from the two replies I got from you, to be honest.

Why don't you read this and get back at me: http://www.amazon.com/Three-Felonies-Day-Target-Innocent/dp/1594035229

As I said, I actually have the equipment at home now and my brother helps me out with my program. I am using one of Rippetoe's starting strength routines and it is exactly as you described. Approx 45 minutes a day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I think I am going to throw 20 minutes of running/biking in on the Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Had to Google that one. That thing is a brute! I think that would be too heavy for my 140lb frame, and I'd be concerned about those spikey bits getting caught up in zombies, brush, and buildings.

Though you did remind me of the FuBar Forcible Entry Tool, I think that's my ideal zombie weapon. Heck, it even comes in an 18" version in case you think you'll get pinched in tight quarters.

Also, he wrote a book called Semper Cool after the incident so there's that going for him.

buy some ramps, they are like 40 bucks. Then you can add an extension to the ramps if your car is too low.

Also, there are def. jacks out there for your car. There are jacks for people who mod there cars with skirts and lowered coil springs.

As for the socket, have you tried one of these: http://www.amazon.com/OEM-25076-Swivel-Filter-Wrench/dp/B000CMJHAA/ref=sr_1_6?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1342720759&sr=1-6&keywords=oil+filter+wrench

For sure, because it's dangerous. But you can buy snap caps and do it in your house or find an outdoor range to practice for real.

Like bloodypalace said, the heavy chain (it weighs 10+ lbs) is a bit much for most people to carry around and at $120 it's a significant investment as well.

The U-lock can be beat with a car jack. The thief sticks one of these inside and expands the jack until the lock fails like this
...or if it's a cheapy lock the thief just uses a ball point pen.

haha youre just being dumb and contrarian you really think all of a sudden its acceptable for girls to be violent to people in public? Its just lower class culture, its always been like that There have been female gangs since forever. Look up the Asian Killer girls, innocent bitch killers, the wally girls, Lady Rascals all just all female asian gangs, not including all female latina or black gangs all according to Professor ( and former cop Al Valdez on the decrease probably due to better opportunities for women in today society and i live in socal so I see girl gangs or rather used to see them Source: I am taking a class on gangs right now. See Al Valdez "Gangs: a guide to understanding street gangs." Youre the one who was saying the other guy was generalizing about humanity then make unsourced claims that because media existed this stuff would be covered but in some ways it was and some ways it wasnt.

Through the "read other people's comments" approach, it's easy to criticize someone by exclusively choosing comments that criticize them.

It's quite possible for Fox to choose only comments that were biased towards one side and never focus on any specific claims made in the content of the book.

You can find a variety of comments just by looking at Amazon book reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Zealot-Life-Times-Jesus-Nazareth/product-reviews/140006922X

That one would look at the wide variety of comments available on the Internet and choose comments that attack credibility through ad hominem (Aslan is Muslim, therefore his book is biased) and appeal to authority (another scholar disagrees, therefore Aslan is wrong), instead of focusing on the content of the book (e.g. why couldn't the disagreeing scholar's comment include what example claim (s)he disagrees with and why (s)he disagrees?)...they just don't make for a balanced interview.

> You were implying that I said "their" content referring to black people. I wasn't. The sarcastic sentence in all caps was making fun of your stupid racist joke.

Well I can see where your head's at. Maybe you should reflect on your own racist thoughts if that's the place you take that sentence.

Also, only $16 used. You really should pick one up.

Holy fucking shit I can't even believe this conversation just happened. Learn to fucking read, dipshit.
