Yeah I hear it's been super slow lately, Zowie really does have great products. I might get one more if my DM1 Breaks and I miss the feel, the FK1+ Looks great! but I would like a FK2+ Model (I miss my original yellow FK) so if they don't make one then, it's a no go for Zowie stuff for me and i have fairly large hands I think? I never measured but I am guessing around 18.5cm? or a little more, I know I have wide palms.

I just say be patient, it sucks but other than another DA I can't think of anything else thats in the same shape and weight. You could always go for a Secret but without weights it's about 120g. I found it useful in clutch situations in CSGO and have managed to pull of great flick shots with it (played it at 400dpi and 500hz/1000hz). Best part of the Secret has to be the ability to change 'surface material adjustment', if you have a cloth pad use the cloth setting for best performance same with hard etc its cool. It helped me stop on the dime and have more control, but not everyone is like me haha, I like to keep options open.

Another Recommendation: GM-XM300 http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-XTREME-Gaming-Mouse-GM-XM300/dp/B01CHRJJB4/ref=cm_rdp_product haven't tried it but it has a DA/EC1a/IE 3.0 Shape. Might be something to look into?

I wanted to buy a Zowie after reading this subredit, but they seem to be out of stock on Amazon and I will have one imported from Canada (a friend lives there and another friend will visit him, so he will buy it for me). The bad thing is I dont have much time to waste. As my friend will be coming back from Canada around June the 20th.

So, I have some options that are currently available on Amazon:

The Avago 9800 is not a good sensor. You may or may not notice them, but it has serious flaws.

That being said it is an upgrade over what you had. Here are a few suggestions, with better sensors, around that price point if you would like to return it and try something else!

Low: http://amzn.com/B00HEX8TA4 - 3050 Optical Sensor. Entry level but good sensor. $15

Mid: http://amzn.com/B009JZ04BC - 3090 optical sensor. Smaller sized. $35

High: http://amzn.com/B00LZVNWIA - good sensor, great software, great brand. $50

u/Terryfrankkratos2 · 3 pointsr/MouseReview

It doesn't seem like a terrible mouse but I can't find any details on what sensor it has, meaning it might spin out easily or have built in acceleration which are total turn offs for any mouse. You can find cheap mice with known sensors like this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077PXVS58/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Or just add like 10 dollars to your budget and get a g203 that's known to be a great mouse by pretty much everyone (buts its shape like an egg)

u/camaronmars · 1 pointr/MouseReview

I tried it and it is really too big for me. If palm on my hand on the mouse, the hump is too high and it makes me feel really inconfortable (my arm muscle's are working hard to hand it, thats bad). While the ZA 12 was too small to palm perfectly (it also gave me a lot of pain, more than the za 11).

I tried ZA-11 and ZA-12 and they are not made for me. The SteelSerie Laser Sensei Raw (images of dimensions : https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/02/uk-videogames/2011/dp/B007N6HS3G/image4._V145389784_.jpg) stayed the better to play long time.

what i can say about the sensei raw is that it is a little too short (my two right figners can't be perfectly rested on the side when handing it hard), and that's their somehow something that make it not the best to wrist movements (although wrist movements are possible), I think because of it's size and shape.

I'll give it a try to the EC1A, who seems to be used by pro fps players. I don't know if it will fit as the hump is higher than the ZA11 but also it's a bit more further on the mouse.

If it's not ok, I guess i'll give a try to the FK1 or FK1+.

I hope I'll be able to find a good mouse and play again! I tried quickly the death adder chroma today, it seems good, althoug again it could be a little bit longer to be able ro make my finger rests perfectly on the side.

You might check out the G303...https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Daedalus-Performance-Gaming-910-004380/dp/B00TKFD51M/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1465548442&sr=1-1&keywords=Logitech+G303

If you're looking for something that's 20 bucks you can find the g100s easily on amazon for 20 dollars or less what we recommend is buying them on amazon then returning them(a few days is usually enough time to figure out if long term usage will give you cramps) and trying another mouse if you're in the United States, Best Buy sometimes has a selection of gaming mice that you can put your hand around.

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G100s-Optical-Gaming-package/dp/B00SH30V6A?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0

Sadly, we can't match your usage exactly, reviews and advice are approximations of what /r/mousereview does. You'll have to do some experimentation and figure out what gripstyle you use and how big your hands are.

/u/rocketjumpninja might be able to help you out in the OEM mice department better than any of us.

u/EqulixV2 · 1 pointr/MouseReview

It's an older gen mouse but it's still high quality, has a good sensor and has the extra buttons you would need while not limiting you if you decided to jump to an fps like overwatch or something. On amazon you can get a refurbished one for 28$ with a 90 day warranty if you are comfortable with somthing like that.

u/soul-zk · 1 pointr/MouseReview

I currently have a large desk-size mousepad Glorious 3XL , but the mousepad I used when I played CS a lot with my ZA I just had a normal Zowie GS-R (Linked here ) Both work great, I'm sure you don't need a large 3XL that I use. A mousepad is also obviously just preference.

u/HomelessRockGod · 1 pointr/MouseReview

You can use any mouse feet if you buy small enough ones to fit towards the edges or in the grooves. You can also just buy replacement EC feet. Amazon, eBay, or Takasta's website which is cheaper than his eBay store (or used to be, haven't need anything for ages).

https://www.itaktech.com/products/hotline-games-logitech-g1-mouse-feet-2014-edition?variant=992408379 These are cheap as fuck and amazing. Small contact area, nice glide.

https://www.itaktech.com/products/hotline-games-ec-mouse-feet-2014-edition EC feet.

https://www.amazon.com/Hyperglide-Mouse-Skates-Zowie-Z-2/dp/B017OIIH7I Overpriced EC feet.

https://www.itaktech.com/products/tiger-intellimouse Intellimouse feet, great if they fit cleanly which they do on an EC series.

Probably just buy EC feet if you don't want to reduce the contact area.

u/JD2Chill · 10 pointsr/MouseReview

Not much of a fan of SteelSeries these days but a few years ago I liked my Sensei RAW. Also (very similar to the Sensei RAW) I find the DM1 FPS to be pretty sweet.

u/Aranshada · 1 pointr/MouseReview

The ones that Zowie provides are good. I bought some of these and they have held up for about a month now. Can't tell if they're any better than the ones Zowie gives you. Maybe take note of how much pressure you're exerting on the mouse when you move it. You might be shoving it down into the pad too hard. It may also just be the pad. I couldn't get my hands on a Zowie GSR, but I had an old G-TF Spawn I used for a few years and I would have to clean that thing every month because it'd get so dirty. I've had a Qck+ for about 2 months now and love it.

u/GDOV · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

Cyber Monday is the best. Plus the G402 is high quality and will do you solid.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LZVNWIA/ref=s9_pdx_hd_bw_bG83uCJ_g147_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-4&pf_rd_r=89Y37JQXYFT4CQNHVSFB&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=00f3a54c-453c-5131-af99-25033596ad73&pf_rd_i=14777267011

Best buy has the g502 proteus core for 35 and the proteus spectrum for 39. I got mine last year from them at this price. Excellent mouse, a tad heavy, but I prefer that so. Either way good deal.

the logitech GPW is on sale at amazon.es for 125 euros, not that good of a deal considering u can get it cheaper if u get one of those 20-25% unidays codes... but atleast it's something i guess, pretty sure amazon.es ships to other EU countries as well for about 8 euros I think?

EDIT: Deal isn't up anymore, price is back to 155 euros

u/AFireInAsa · 1 pointr/MouseReview

Cloth pads are great. I think 99% of fps pros use them. They can range from high to very low friction and they're easier to move. Here's a pretty cheap and semi-large one, highly recommended.

http://www.amazon.com/Allsop-Mouse-Pad--Raindrop-Blue/dp/B000XUW8IY/ref=sr_1_6?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1417224654&sr=1-6&keywords=allsop

Buy a large sheet of HDPE plastic and a plastic cutter to hack it into the size you want. I bought this https://www.amazon.com/Vycom-906686-Seaboard-Density-Polyethylene/dp/B00K2QT1XO which works great as a hard mousepad. Cutting it in half (the only way it can fit on my desk, and it is still huge) gives you two sheets. Since the material is the same on both sides you get 4 huge hardpad surfaces to play on for $20.

u/f0xy713 · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

zd talentech ember plus for 20 usd

giyach g310 for 15 usd

Both are EC2 clones with PMW3325 sensor and Huano switches. I'd say quality is very good for the price and they look pretty nice too.

If you want a PMW3360 and Omrons, this plugable performance mouse is probably the cheapest one at 30 usd, unless you can find a cheap G203 or some older discounted Logitech mice (for example G402)... although I'd still pick the plugable since it's plug&play - basically Zowie quality and features at an actually reasonable price.

u/M1ndl355 · 1 pointr/MouseReview

I was going to recommend the Logitech G510s and the G502. But, both do kind of have a spaceship aesthetic feel to them...

So, instead look into the Roccat Isku and for the mouse Zowie FK1, DeathAdder Chroma, Mionix Naos 7000, Mionix Avior 7000, CoolerMaster Alcor, Any of the Roccat Kone Pure Optical/Military, or the Corsair M45.

Many of these mice and keyboards come down to preference. So, pick and choose which ones you like and if you have any questions/concerns please respond and I'm sure that someone will respond to you as soon as possible.

u/Lesteriuse · 1 pointr/MouseReview

Oh god, please don't get a QcK. It's just a regular, generic mousepad with a logo.

Get an Allsop XL, it's much better and will save you some money.

u/AndrewCanDoAll · 1 pointr/MouseReview

Closest mouse to it in size is probably the Roccat Kone EMP or Roccat Leadr. I'd just stick to what you have. You could also look at the Nixeus Revel Fit or MX518 Legendary as well though. The Roccat Kone Owl Eye is probably too small for you though.

I own the Ergo 2016, 2017, Kone EMP Leadr, and Revel Fit for reference.

It's the MX518 shape. So you can get

u/litehound · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

Nixeus Revel is a good cheap mouse, but both it and the G203/G102 are ambidextrous, and cheap ergonomic(Designed to be held with a specific hand) mice are hard to find. The Rival 310 is an ergonomic mouse that seems to currently be on a long-term sale, and the Plugable is about the cheapest ergonomic mouse with a top-end sensor I know of, though it's fairly heavy and I don't know how good it is. And trust me, regardless of your skill level and what you strictly need, having a high-end sensor will really help you(Though the 3360 is as everyone will say, overkill for anyone)

u/Fischtronaut · 3 pointsr/MouseReview

The MX Master is 69$ right now and it's debatably the best work/productivity mouse. I would check it out, everyone I know who has one loves it.

The G900 is on sale at the minute on amazon I believe https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Spectrum-Professional-Wireless-Ambidextrous/dp/B01CEFEMFW

The G900 has all of logitechs latest technology, including the lowest input delay of any wireless mouse to date and with the best sensor on the market, I think that it is worth the extra $30, if you feel that it is not worth it then the MX master is a reasonable choice.

edit: on second thought the G403 would be a better choice honestly, here

CM Storm Recon is $40 USD, I'm sure you can get a solid price on it in Canada, and it's a great and sturdy mouse with everything you asked for and more.

This is an amazon link, it all depends on where the nearest amazon center is though for shipping. If you live in like Hawaii its going to take a longer shipping time than somewhere like Illinois. Have you tried Newegg or even Ebay?

u/IAMTHESHNIZ · 1 pointr/MouseReview

Id reccomend the CMStorm Recon, a pretty good mouse for the price.

u/HysteriaVG · 3 pointsr/MouseReview

QcK+ is a safe option. £15, non-stitched edges, always been popular in esports.

u/bunnyfromdasea · 1 pointr/MouseReview

Prob best to start with something good and cheap then. If you want stiched edges then check this out.

For non stiched start with this.

Different people like the feeling of stiched edges while some prefer the non-stiched feel.

Stiched edges will also last longer but the pad won't flatten as easily.

I personally prefer thicker pads to have stiched edges, but it doesn't matter as much if the pad is thinner. Both of those pads are on the thinner side with the Qck being the thinner of the two.

u/rabbitz · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

haha ya https://www.amazon.ca/Gigabyte-Xtreme-6400dpi-Optical-Gaming/dp/B01CHRJJB4 but I'm sure its just resellers trying to rip us off... we don't seem to have too many of the "smaller" brands readily available here.

Logitech g900: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Spectrum-Professional-Wireless-Ambidextrous/dp/B01CEFEMFW

I think this fits all your requirements and is a quality mouse.

Although the wireless is really nice, it adds a bit of weight so this ends up being around 107g.

u/sorijealut · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

Hey,

I've tried the Hayate Otsu, and I can't recommend it. It may be an isolated issue, but when I tried it out for a week, it had a critical problem with static electricity. Yeah, I do mean that.. it is strange to describe as I've never expected this to be a problem either.
Whenever mice had contact with it and after moving the mouse on it for a minute, the friction built up tons of charge which shocked everything I touched, including my headphones. This was so bad I had to get rid of it. Otherwise, the size was too small. I did like their package where they ship it flat without bending it. In my opinion it was definitely not worth the price premium and hassle of finding it.

I now currently own the Zowie G-SR, which seems just about as perfect as I would want a mouse pad to be. Everything from the thickness, rubber pads, even surface, edge finishes, and no annoying giant logo.

My favorite before this mousepad was the Steelseries Qck Heavy, but this Zowie one just beats it out by perfecting it.

u/Uryftw · 1 pointr/MouseReview

I have 21 x 10.8cm hands and I would NEVER recommend the G102 / G203 for hands bigger than 17ish centimeters in length. Not only the slanted sides make it for a very awkward / forced grip, also the mouse itself is quite small for your hand size. And there is no way that you will be able to palm such a small mouse. You would be way better off with a Talentech Ember Save up some money if you can, it will be more ergonomic (it is basically a "better" Zowie EC2-A in several aspects)

u/SweatshopTycoon · 2 pointsr/MouseReview

Buy a textured HDPE sheet off of Amazon. Works fine, highly durable and doesn't have an issue with any sensors I've used on it.

Lizard Skins Bat Grip, Black, 0.5mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FAW40AE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8WdhDb4DCBGYQ

u/AvastAntipony · 1 pointr/MouseReview

Roccat Kone is pretty close to the shape of the M325, but it is bigger. Out of all the Kones you probably should get a Pure Military Edition since it has an optical sensor.

u/DairToBe · 3 pointsr/MouseReview

I just did this today with Lizard Skin 0.5mm grip tape ( https://www.amazon.com/Lizard-Skins-Grip-Black-0-5mm/dp/B00FAW40AE/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=lizard+skin+0.5mm&qid=1562993700&s=gateway&sr=8-2 )

  1. Print the following template at 100% size / "Actual Size": https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/bbw0ng/scan_of_gpw_hotline_games_grip/
  2. Cut the template out as close as possible with sharp scissors or an x-acto knife
  3. Lay the template over the Lizard Skin. I used thumbtacks to hold the template in place while cutting
  4. Then just peel the adhesive off the back of the lizard skin and place carefully on the mouse

and just cut it to whatever shape you need.

http://www.amazon.com/ROCCAT-Military-Edition-Performance-Gaming/dp/B00KLVN2YO

The ROCCAT Kone Pure Military Edition is right-hand ergonomic and has a 3310 sensor (same sensor as FK1).

It does, however, have a driver suite.

I haven't had problems with it, though. It even has Linux support, which is nice, because I use Linux. :P

The Windows version is a little fancier, for better or worse. In your position, I'd probably turn off all of the driver's weird voices and shit.

It looks to me like they are slightly different, but there seem to be mixed answers. Apparently, Hyperglides won't help if you have a Divina, though.

u/thatsnotright666 · 3 pointsr/MouseReview

The diablo 3 mouse was a version of the steelseries sensei. A regular steelseries sensei will be basically identical other than the different coating. A steelseries sensei RAW is again identical (with a more similar coating this time) however the dpi can only be set to multiples of 90. Both of those mice are very very similar to the diablo 3 mouse.

Consider taking a look at this: https://www.amazon.com/RGB-Gaming-Mouse-Wired-Mice/dp/B077PXVS58 It's not exactly the same shape but has an overall similar taper from the back to a slightly wider mid section to a narrower front. I have a deathadder myself that a friend gave to me after he didn't like it. I was coming from an MX Revolution that died. The MX was my favorite all around mouse ever. I am now considering the MX Master:

I was thinking about the MX Master because I want one that is more utilitarian, but the more that I think about it, I don't do much other than game on my PC. If I did more office type stuff on my PC, it would be a no brainer. BUT, since I really do game on my PC quite a bit, I'm thinking about a Zowie:

Do not fucking buy a QcK whatever you do. So I went a bit too ham with mouse pads and own most JP artisans from a few years ago, a bunch of different mouses, and then I had a fucking 24x36 inch alunium plate coated with ceramic Cerokate mouse pad made for me. A fucking custom made mousepad. I paid 300+ fucking dollars to have a custom mousepad made for me. You know what I use the most now? A raindropper XL mousepad. I have a few of these now. I prefer a 12 dollar mousepad compared to this 300 dollar custom made mousepad.

The major downside of them is that they're a bit small (compared to stupid big current mousepads). I get around this by using a sensitivoty toggle.

If a raindropper XL is big enough for you then it is the absolute best mousepad you can get. Nothing will ever compare. That being said, make sure it is big enough. Whatever dot clicking advantage you have will disappear if you're constantly struggling with swipes and recentering and whatever else bullshit arises from it.

If the raindropper is too small then you should absolutely consider any other mousepad.

Games: Literally everything

Hand Preference: Right

Budget: Prefer for it to be sub $50

Hand Size: idfk who measures their hands

Grip: idk

Weight: Light or Medium

Sensitivity: Preferably customizable.

Additional Details: I'm looking for an extremely quiet wireless mouse, I'm going to often be using this in libraries and stuff. However every wireless mouse I've used has massive input lag. I'm looking for a bluetooth mouse that has low enough input lag to where I don't notice the delay and am able to game on it. I previously bought the Shhhhhhh mouse but the input lag is seriously just ridiculous. Even for basic navigation with a high sensitivity it's extremely obvious and annoying especially because I'm a gamer. In games you mine as well use the trackpad on my laptop cause that mouse ain't doing shit game wise. Even for isometric games.
