I was told I've got low iron and I should start taking iron twice a day. I did a lot of research and found this one:

Salus-Haus - Floradix Floravital Iron & Herbs Yeast Free - 8.5 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00028Q1ZI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_SUY78HwWjicX8

It has great reviews on r/babybumps and I figured it was worth a try. It's been seriously great! It tastes a bit gross, but if you chase it with orange juice (make sure it's not fortified with calcium) you can't taste it. Also vitamin C helps the body absorb iron. I feel freaking fantastic about 30 minutes after taking a dose, like, my heart rate and blood pressure go down, I have tons of energy, I don't feel sick at all. It's been great. And so far, no constipation, no upset tummy. When I went to my next appointment after being told to start iron, my midwife recommended this too, and said you either order it on Amazon or find it in health food stores. Sure said that is the best one she's ever seen, because it's so gentle.

Sorry for that word dump, I just recently went through this. I know the hard to breath feeling sucks a lot.

I bought: "My Child's Health Record Keeper (Log Book)" https://www.amazon.com/dp/1441313842/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_IEfYo7eTqeHTj

For myself and my friend. It looks like it would be pretty nifty, i opened mine and its pretty thorough without being bulky and should be able to fit in any diaper bag easily. It's the only thing I've actually packed in my hospital bag so far rofl

I used this one and this one. The first one was my favorite by far. I ended up failing HypnoBirthing because I didn't practise enough or commited to the excercises, but the book and audio files gave me peace when my mind was a turmoil. I really enjoyed those moments and happy vizualisation!

I'm just not rigourous enough for the training on my own part ;P

I just got the same book as a gift! We also got several books by Chris Ferrie that are all "[field of science] for babies", which seem neat. The only big must-have for me is The Monster at the End of This Book, which was my favorite as a kid. I just read a whole article about it that made me even more excited to read it to my kid. Thankfully, I have our family's copy from before I was even born, so that's good to go. My childless older brother thinks I'm a thief for taking it because it's got his name in it - ha!

I recommend an enema bulb! It's really old school, but my oh my. It never fails with me. I've had one for like two years now, totally feel like a hippy but my doctors say that's better than laxatives which can irritate the bowels and cause addiction. But what do I know! Stomachs are weird!
I'm so glad for your touchdown! I wish you many more!

I'm a big fan of Expecting Better, as the author looks at the actual scientific evidence behind most common pregnancy do's and don'ts.

The summary of her section on coffee says:

> In moderation, coffee is fine.

> All evidence supports having up to 2 cups.

> Much of the evidence supports having 3 to 4 cups.

> Evidence on more than 4 cups a day is mixed; some links are seen with miscarriage, but it is possible that they are all due to the effects of nausea.

My husband makes me a travel mug of strong black coffee every morning :)

I originally had the snoogle but exchanged it for the back and body pillow, which I like much better. As you can see, this pillow hugs you on both sides. It's been hot as hell here lately and the pillow hasn't made anything worse. I sleep with a fan pointed toward me and haven't woken up overheating. I highly recommend this one if you toss and turn a lot like I do.

They have a Starburst "favorite reds" pack now! I normally never eat Starburst but I've had these a few times during pregnancy and loved them: https://www.amazon.com/Starburst-FaveREDs-Fruit-Chews-Candy/dp/B0041285XC

I'm Canadian and car seat blankets are a pretty standard thing here.

They stay attached to the seat and the straps are threaded through specific holes. They also make them for some strollers. Add some mittens and a toque and you're good for keeping warm in a car seat.

This is on my list even though a rectal thermometer is more accurate, getting a ballpark temp without diaper diving every time will be nice:

Kinsa Sesame Street Elmo Smart Ear Thermometer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H5QL8L6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_GP.Kzb4VQN9D2

Go ahead and buy stock in this stuff:

Boudreaux's Butt Paste Diaper Rash Ointment - Maximum Strength - Contains 40% Zinc Oxide - Pediatrican Recommended - Paraben and Preservative-Free - 4 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00569GU18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_.Q.KzbG1R3BVA

I really want one of these to live in postpartum:

Kindred Bravely The Angelina Ultra Soft Maternity & Nursing Nightgown Dress (Cabernet, XL) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GDCG1DS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lS.KzbX4XQ9V7

Tiny infant leather moccasins! Not because they're walking, but because they'll need more foot insulation than just socks in the winter months.

The heat is killing me too! I had a friend recommend one of these cool towels (she is due in Oct too) and said it's completely worth it - she basically lives with it on her neck now.

I've been eating Ginger People Gin-Gins. They have a bit of spice to them, and they have helped me a lot. That said, my nausea is more mild-to-moderate this time, so I don't know if it will help much.

Hopefully this works, I haven't tried to link from mobile before Star Trek Book
