For those more budget conscious, I've found these to be very effective:

Sounds is vital in this game, and I think kudos should be given to the dev team for successfully making it an integral part of the gameplay, there's a lot of code going on there!

I have a Cloud Hyper X and it's pretty amazing and comfortable, got it refurbished on Amazon.

I'm not too sure about Bandit's gear, but I do have a list of what I used for Mute.

MP5K: Umarex Heckler & Koch MP5

P226: Sig Sauer P226 Metal Slide Airsoft Pistol

Facemask: Fontic Sunsing Multi-Function Facemask

Gasmask: Outgeek M50 Airsoft Mask

BDU: Rothco Military Airforce Style Flightsuit Coveralls - Navy Blue

Vest: MetalTac Airsoft Cross Draw Tactical Vest

Gloves: Uxcell Pair Chemical Resistance Rubber Gloves

Harness: Rosy Clouds Climbing Harness

Pistol Holster: Carlebben Drop Leg Holster

Boots: Any pair of all black boots/sneakers

Tape: Any gray/white tape

Patches: Honestly up to you, there's so many out there, it's basically up to personal preference.

In total cost me around $200-300 but you can definitely look for cheaper ones on other websites.

Okay well there are a few headsets I will recommend, depending on your preferences.

If you want a wireless headset I would go with the Sony platinum headset:

If you prefer wired I’d go with the hyperx cloud 2’s:

You can buy R6 credits code on Amazon directly. Just make sure youll buy the right ones (if you have e.g. PS4 buy PS4 and not PC code) https://www.amazon.com/Tom-Clancys-Rainbow-Six-Siege/dp/B018RKQEL8?th=1

Well I know for a fact that this is 100% undetectable.

There's plenty of results for looking up how to hack on consoles, but I don't think I'm allowed to link them here. It's insanely easy to find, I believe in you.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the starter pack this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Shops/UBI-Soft-300076410-Tom-Clancys-Rainbow-Siege/B00KJGJLAK

It doesn't say but I'm not sure if there is a difference between the stock version/starter pack version :)

PRO TIPS:
If you want the BEST SOUND for the price, DON'T buy Gaming-Headsets! They are overpriced garbage.
Buy a pair of Hi-Fi-Headphones instead and put a clip-mic on.
Look for Beyerdynamic
(http://www.amazon.de/Beyerdynamic-DT-990-PRO-250-DT-990-Pro-Kopfh%C3%B6rer/dp/B0011UB9CQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1453367729&sr=8-2&keywords=beyerdynamic),
Sennheiser
(http://www.amazon.de/Sennheiser-HD-598-ohrumschlie%C3%9Fender-Kopfh%C3%B6rer/dp/B0042A8CW2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1453367587&sr=8-6&keywords=sennheiser)
or AKG
(http://www.amazon.de/AKG-K612-PRO-%C2%B7-Kopfh%C3%B6rer/dp/B00DCXZY1W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453367608&sr=8-1&keywords=akg+612)
and clip this mic on:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00029MTMQ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

If you give a shit on many useless settings in your soundcard, buy a headphone amp instead. (e.g. Fiio E10) It gives you a much much better sound for your headphones at a lower price then gaming soundcards.

Oh and you don't need surround headsets with 7.1 or soundcard settings with surround simulation. Just set it to stereo and the game will simulate the surround sound by itself. You will hear the difference!

$35 on Amazon right now:

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KVHSNB0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_iMQ7wbEAE56XD

https://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-KeyMander-Keyboard-Adapter-GE1337P/dp/B00GBK434M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1542715077&sr=8-2&keywords=Keymander

Keymander should be a really good choice to fit your budget, however, you need to manually configure it via PC but it should be easy. Like the xim with keymander, you can eliminate the dead zone usually associated with a lot of console games, which stop the player moving if its analog stick is a bit wonky.

They're working on the issue (or at least should be) - you should've heard about the issue on the subreddit btw.

(Also, you paid $60 for the game? You got ripped off. It's 50% off on PC, and you can find physical versions of R6:S for PS4 for $20 now)

The only tip i have is get a gaming mouse that has extra buttons, then map all of your weapons/gadgets to mouse buttons. I find that the only time i ever have difficulty in fumbling with controls is when i have to take my fingers off wasd to hit one of the number keys, being able to move while switching weapons/gadgets is an immense help.

For example, i use a Razer Taipan and have gadget 1 & 2 mapped to the thumb buttons, scroll wheel to switch between primary and secondary, and middle mouse as melee. the only time i have to take my hands off the movement controls is to throw a drone, or reload which you generally don't do in the line of fire anyway.

If you decide to get them, put on these ear pads: Amazon. The pads they come with are very uncomfortable.

u/CheezusRiced06 · 1 pointr/Rainbow6

Hey man, dunno if you'll see this in time but if you have Amazon prime and are still looking for a 502, they're on sale for 40 bucks which is an absolute steal

u/DetHomer · 1 pointr/Rainbow6

Suffer through casual and completely switch to pc for a week or so. Doesn’t take that long to learn key placements, but your aim will be shitty for a couple of months. Try and get a mouse with switchable DPI (mine is the Logitech Proteus G502 and it switches from 400-3200 .
