That's a good price for that 60hz 4K.. But I don't really recommend 60hz 4Ks. You're right about a 4k being kind of useless if your main focus is gaming. Something 1080p with better input latency and refresh rate would be a better choice IMO.. Like a http://www.amazon.com/Sony-KDL55W800C-55-Inch-1080p-Smart/dp/B00R45XC0Y

4ks will have a slower input latency, and I know you said you don't care about smart features, but there's awesome opportunity for Android games and old school emulators on Sony Android TVs. (Pair your ps4 controller with it, it's awesome). I use to use my ps for Netflix and stuff but now it's so much easier and more enjoyable on Android TV.

Definitely not that. For starters, the RU8000 is every bit as good as the Q60R. Aside from that, there are much better sets for the price. I would check out the Vizio M Quantum series. It has good native contrast. Just be careful, as there are 2 different versions of the M series, and one isn't as good as the other. You want a G1 M series, not the G0.

Idk about that I have a Samsung 42" 720p that we use in the master bedroom and have for 7 years just fine. I got a 720p because I wanted to save when 1080p was out.

I guess I should say I don't think that to be true for everything. Yes if you buy a Seki 60" you can't be mad it lasted 5 years.

What about this 60"?

I'd try for something like this:

I'd stay away from all 3 of the TV's you listed. There bottom barrel bugget TVs. Look into Vizio if you're going bugget brand. There's good guilty at a budget. Also since you're looking for 1080p most good name brand TV's at 1080p will be just as cheap as the bugget TV.

>The stand is fastened to the wall

I've never read into it, only ever seen the sitcom-esque end results. You need to drill into a stud to properly mount one, right?

>The arm allows you just about any way you can think for watching. It swivels left, right, up, down.

I'll look for a base stand with similar capability. In my bedroom, it's pretty much viewed from my bed or right next to it at my desk, same side of the room.

  1. UN50J6300

  2. Whenever I go over there, the cable box it turned off, and he is in the Netflix or HBO Go or whatever app. I turned off the Wifi connection on the TV hoping that that might solve it. But it seemingly hasn't solved it.

Well. I prefer LG and Samsung. But everybody has a different taste.

Edit: what about this one: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0152WZWLC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_49PZzbSDDFYKV

Realistically at that size you’re not looking for a television, just a monitor and even then I haven’t seen anything smaller than 21.5 in awhile.

Maybe something like this.

I bought this, Bill. Will that work or should I cancel and buy something else? I'm a dummy when it comes to electronics

TCL FS3750, 40" for $270 for 48" for $320. Even though $300 is your budget, the extra $20 would be worth it for almost a 50".

There may be some cheaper televisions, but they won't have as good as a picture, won't be good for gaming, and will be pretty bad just all around.
