with that budget you wont get an ultrabook that will run those games smoothly. a suitable choice would easily be this Acer Aspire VX 15 Gaming Laptop but then its heavy and only comes with a 256 gb ssd. i also found this Acer Aspire R 14 which is a great deal within budget but with the games you intend to play you might have hiccups using this laptop. there is also this Acer Aspire R 15 which ticks all your boxes except the size and it is outside your weight restriction. it would be a good choice as well due to the fact that it does have a dedicated 940mx gpu that would be great for playing those games in low-medium settings.

Hi sorry sorry I took so long to reply ok, so here are my two options for you. The HP EliteBook 840 G1 14-inch Ultrabook 3.5lbs in your budget range. The second one I would recommend is the Acer Swift 3 14inch laptop.

UX303UA for $850. It just went back up recently coming from $799. For $350 more you could get the UB which has double Memory, +4GB ram, dedicated GPU, and a jump from an i5 to an i7.

There is also the UX305 which is an older edition that only comes in gold. Not worth it IMO if you could get an even better one for $100 more.

Ok its not that bad though based on other reviews of the display because I have the acer aspire e15 with the nvidia 940mx graphics card and the display is the same to me and the quality display is great on it, but what do you think of the acer?

Why not get this Acer Aspire S 13 Touch ? It ticks most of your boxes easily..It has a 6th gen i7 processor which performs almost identical to the 7th gen, 8 GB RAM, fast 512 GB SSD and an awesome 13 hours battery life and weighs 3 pounds.. You could also look at the HP ENVY 13-ab016nr an d the ASUS ZenBook UX330UA-AH54.

What do you think about the Acer Aspire compared to the Samsung an Asus models you've been using?

As far as I can tell it's an M.2 slot, but I would double check and do some research first

Here's a 256GB SSD: http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-256GB-Internal-Solid-CT256M550SSD4/dp/B00ITFZTLI/
