Logitech G500, I used a few mouses but I just love this one even have a back up. It just works for me, I suggest finding a mouse you like and getting comfortable with it.

Steelseries 6gv2

Very simple but extremely good quality mechanical keyboard, and not too expensive. It's definitely not designed for MMO's (imo, its not even specifically for gaming, even though they call it "gaming keyboard"), but that doesn't mean it's bad, I can really do everything fine. The only downside is that it doesn't have macro keys, which is not a problem for me personally because i have never used them on my old Logitech keyboard anyways.

The Anker is, and definitely feels like a step down from the g700, but for the money I'd be ok if it got the double click of death at 6 months. It definitely took some getting used to.

Before I got the Anker, I tried the Corsair Vengeance M65 mouse, which I absolutely loved the feel and weight of but I'm an old fashioned mouse gripper from back when mice didn't have scroll wheels and use the "claw" grip as opposed to the palm grip where your middle finger is on the scroll wheel. That mouse is just a tad bit wider and it was painful for me to use. I would highly recommend trying that mouse before the Anker because it's much more sturdier.

lol okay. I enjoy it because it's a thing, not because there is a carrot on the end of a stick for me.

might I suggest:

You should be able to get a basic gaming keyboard with this functionality for $20-30. And yes, I believe anti-ghosting is the more commonly used term.

This is probably a good choice for your budget:

I always like mouse pads with maps on them. Maybe a big fabric one like steel series make with the world map dyed into it.

The Razor Naga Hex

Ignoring the fact that these reviews will be biased to the vocally displeased, it does present another opportunity to suggest any software project manager and the executives of such organizations to read The Mythical Man Month.

I've had both a Razer Naga and a Logitech g600.

  1. My first Razer Naga was a "first generation" Naga I bought in Feb 2010. About a year later I was having some issues with the left click but I was able to fix it by fixing a notch that had worn in the clicking lever. Around another year and it started double or triple clicking when I single clicked. I tried many fixes I saw on the internet for this, but I never got a fix for it. I used it for another 3 months before replacing it. Overall it lasted me 2.5 years (Feb 2010-Oct 2012). I never had any issues with the side buttons.
  2. I owned a Razer Lycosa as well, which was the worst keyboard I have ever owned. So I decided to replace it with a Logitech G600 since both my Razers were performing poorly. I never really warmed up to the G600. I had two main issues with it.
  3. The scroll wheel press required significantly more force to press than the Naga. This was a deal breaker for me.
  4. I think my side-board was faulty. The (8) button was very difficult to press compared to the rest on the side. It also didn't register a click with the tactile click like the rest did. I needed to press it beyond the tactile point for the click to register.

  5. I returned the G600 and bought a Naga 2012. So far it has served me well without any issues. I'm hoping that Razer has upped their durability in the newer models. Either way, if mine started to die I would just buy a new Naga. I can't game without it. (Oct 2012-Current)
