Congrats on getting the Note 5. Use it for a week or two to get an idea about battery life. It's really a great device. Oh man wireless charging is just super convenient. I got the Spigen wireless dock charger I like the angle in which the phone rests and charges. Great for bed night stand, office desk top, or whatever comes to mind.

I got this one because I wanted more of a wireless charging dock than a pad, and for the money it's been pretty good. I had some weird issues with the first one where it was triggering the gear vr setup wizard instead of charging, but the seller quickly shipped a free replacement. Now both work fine, so I have two ;)

I don't think it's technically a "fast charger" but it seems to charge pretty quickly in my experience.

I recently upgraded from a GS4 to the Note 5. I went with the 32GB version. While I never had a huge issue with touchwiz, I decided to try out something new with the new phone and went with the nova launcher and it is awesome. The phone is much snappier and the fingerprint scanner is great. While I can't really compare it directly with the S6 or S7, this phone is great. The S-Pen is great so far, it's better than writing on paper it works so well. As far as storage goes, I think the 32GB is plenty. I currently have all the apps I use, plus all of my text messages from my old phone and still have 18GB free. I also keep a flash drive on my keys for larger games/emulators/movies and haven't had any issues yet. If you need more specifics, a standard picture is about 3.5MB for me, and a selfie is about 1.5MB.

Gaming performance is great compared to the S4, the main game I play is called Crashlands, I used to have slowdowns when there was a lot on the screen at once, not anymore though. I can't really speak to the audio quality as it's not important to me.

Samsung Pay was easy to setup for me, but haven't really used it yet, although it is included in all of the phones you are considering.

this is the best case ever. Hands down. I will never recommend any case but this for this phone. It's thin, it's tough, it keeps the camera from hitting the surface you're putting it down on. I was running a race, my phone fell out of my pocket, fell to my foot and I kicked it into a metal pole. Fine. Perfectly fine. Not one scratch or dent. My girlfriend was so impressed by the look and feel of this case that she got one for her S7. Because of that we often grab the wrong phone. Lol.

And the Samsung wireless charging pad is nice, but I much prefer simply plugging it into a fast charger. I got these cables so I have all the room in the world to be able to use my phone and have it on power.

I couldn't find the exact size of the battery pack, but I guess you could get something like a portable HDD case to fit your battery.

Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Case-Logic-Portable-Drive-Black/dp/B003WUBIZQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452125127&sr=8-1&keywords=portable+hdd+case

Just make sure it fits inside before buying. Mesure it.

Leaning towards the unlocked version because tbh it may actually be really nice to get updates promptly. I guess my next question is where is the best place to get one as I've never made this type of purchase before. Can this type of listing be trusted? http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-N920-Unlocked-Note-Factory/dp/B00WJE3B38/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

I worry about getting a used product with no warranty ya know. Thanks for the reply btw.

I've tried a few IMKEY brand cables and they seem to be pretty good. They have cables double the length of the original and work for fast charging as well.

They have different shapes and sizes so take a look around for yourself too.

I have used this and it has been fantastic. Most people are amazed that it looks so good. Just have to get a tempered glass screen protector on top. Have dropped my phone multiple times and zero damage has been done. The case is even still in good condition.

I have the Anker E5. It's a larger unit but it can recharge my Note 5, my iPad or any other USB device multiple times before ever needing to recharge itself.

Anker makes great products and I definitely say get one if you are worried about battery life.

I'm using this Spigen Neo Hybrid case. Very light, looks good, and allows the color of the phone to take center stage. I always have a glass screen protector on as well, just in case.

I recommend this

I have the non plus version, but since you have the Otterbox, you'll need the extra extension. The non-plus version will fit the Note 5 without a case.

I have a solid mounting solution for my car that sits nicely out of the way and still accessible. Took a few tries, but settled on this combination:

iottie QI charger, connected to a ram mount ball, mounted to my dash via proclip.

I've used this and really like it. I've also bought one for my fiancée and her Note 4.

I have been using these for a couple months. I like them a lot. They are not reversable though.

I have http://amzn.com/B00D4ABOZS, it holds the phone really well. The only issue I have is that my cd slot isnt flush and has a rounded lip at the bottom. Think like a 1/4" shelf. Makes the mount slowly loosen over time. Annoying but it works.

It's hard to believe that a 2012 Honda doesn't come with Bluetooth standard.

If in fact it doesn't, it should have an aux port. I use this aux-to-Bluetooth kit in my much older Scion tC. Works just fine.
