I love this case. It blends in perfectly with the Matte Iph7+. Just thick enough so your phone feels more protected (I've dropped mine several times with this one - no damage to the phone) but thin enough to keep the phone small. Speakers are fully surrounded and edges are just tall enough so the phone can lay facing down and up without the camera/screen touching the surface. The apple logo is exposed; I can see why you might have an issue with that but I never got a scratch on it (and it looks really nice).

For a screen protector, any glass cover will be perfect. The plastic ones pick up too much grease and have that annoying rainbow effect when you angle the phone. I use this one from Tech Armor. So far it's been a year and there's no scratches on it yet. Looks like brand new and it's low enough so it blends in very well with the case I mentioned above (as well as the apple cases. The edges on the screen protector are curved so you won't feel the edge). I should also mention it's a lot easier to install glass cases because it won't bend everywhere and there's no bubbles after installing (there might be some very small dots but those go away completely after 2-3 days.)

I would go with the Matte Black. I think it's a lot cleaner than the Jet black. The j/b is too easy to scratch and fingerprints will be very noticeable. I wouldn't trade mine for a second.

Get yourself a good adblocker for Safari. Adguard and 1Blocker work perfect. SoundHound for songs you hear out in public and don't know the name/artist. Other than that you just need to go exploring for apps you like.

This got wayyy longer than I expected lol. Regardless of what phone you get, you won't regret it one bit :) enjoy the new iPhone!

Edit: Spigen makes great cases all around. Tech21 if your want more protection with the cost of adding more bulk to the phone. A little pricey but they are seriously good cases.

u/Solarin88 · 3 pointsr/iphone

Get the Incipio NGP case if you want something really protective but not at all bulky.

Screen protectors are pretty ugly in my opinion, I don't use one and my screen has been fine.

My favorite apps are...

  • Wunderlist - Great to-do list app, has a desktop/mac version which syncs so you can make lists and reminders on your computer as well.
  • Week Cal - better Calender app than Apple's default one, syncs with everything the default app syncs with.
  • Chrome - should be obvious
  • Evernote - better note app than the default one, also has a desktop version which syncs.
  • Alien Blue - amazing reddit client, don't even look at anything else for reading reddit.
  • Dropbox - file storage, syncs really well with the desktop version so it makes it very easy to get files on and off your iPhone.
  • Reeder - best app that syncs with Google Reader.

You might want to hold off on jailbreaking for now and just play around with your new iPhone to see what it can do without the jailbreak. I always hear about problems people have with certain apps when they jailbreak, so it doesn't seem worth it to me.

I'll tell you one thing; try to find one that is truly edge-to-edge / has really beveled / curved edges.

I got these:
TETHYS Glass Screen Protector Designed for iPhone XS Max (6.5") [3-Pack] [Edge to Edge Coverage] Full Protection Durable Tempered Glass for Apple iPhone XS MAX Guidance Frame Included (Pack of 3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FQY28GR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_DacVBbXCZ9R9W

Like:

  • Super slick surface. Seriously; I've used cheaper screen protectors that feel like they're NOT glass; have an almost sticky / rough feeling to them, your fingers do not glide easily around the screen and it is awful. Don't get the cheapest ones out there. You truly get what you pay for.

  • These are truly full-screen / cover the entire face of the phone. I think this is better as it protects the notch area & the sensitive equipment in there from scratches.

  • comes with a nifty guide to help perfectly center the protector. Essential for OCD people like me. :-)

    Don't like:

  • the edge isn't beveled quite as much as others claim to be and it's a little annoying / doesn't feel good on your finger when you swipe up from the bottom to go home. It's a little rough as your finger goes over the edge of the protector.

Seeing how often you perform that gesture, I'm seriously considering looking for & getting a good protector that has ultra-beveled edges, something like this:

ESR Screen Protector for The iPhone Xs Max, [3D+ Maximum Protection] [Full Coverage], Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for The iPhone 6.5” (2018 Release), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G42KLZZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_SecVBb6M47PHF

    Aw hell...I'll prob get these & try them - it's only $11.....

It feels a bit thicker/bulkier but once you've got used to it it's not too bad. I've had one on the 6 Plus and 6S Plus but on the 7 Plus they weren't released so I got a Spigen Rugged Armor, it's very similar the only difference is it doesn't have the metal backplate that goes over the silicon case but it feels much thinner.

The silicon case both on Tough Armor and the Rugged Armor has grooves in it, it's supposed to push air through if the phone drops onto a hard surface to help dampen the phone and absorb impact. I don't know how much truth there is in that or if it's a marketing gimmick but I know I've dropped my 6 Plus hundreds of times and it's never broken anything in the phone. In the past on my 4/4S/5/5S I've had different cases and dropped then probably 6-10 times and then something breaks like the mic, the speaker or home button. So I think the Spigen Tough Armor cases are probably worth the money. That said I'm really happy with the Rugged Armor and may just stick with that as it feels much thinner and nice in the hand.

u/jedmej · 3 pointsr/iphone

I'm also not sure about this particular case, but I'm using Totallee Clear case on my XS Max and I love it. As for the screen protector, I purchased TETHYS Glass Screen Protector (edge to Edge) 3-Pack for $14. I was never a fan of any screen protector, as they take away from the design and feel but this one is really nice! Basically can't tell its there, especially with a case on. Feels just like the stock glass and coating seems good so far. I would recommend!

u/hwrhs87 · 1 pointr/iphone

Bought the Spigen Tough Armor case off Amazon.

NOT the Slim Armor (SA), but the Tough Armor (TA). The Tough Armor plastic almost feels like titanium...it is a smooth finish, but has a brushed metal feel. It's nice.

It has squared edges for better gripping, a kickstand, and doesn't add much bulk to the phone.

From someone that normally has an Otterbox Defender case, I'm quite enjoying this one. I threw in a basic matte screen protector, and I feel like my phone is quite safe from everyday use and the occasional drop.

I ordered a bunch of cases...I like the feel of these two:

Luvvit Clear Case

Hoco Carbon Fiber Case

I also got this one...but the first two I like a lot:

Tozo Clear Thin Case

When it comes to screen protectors I got this one and I absolutely love it!

Tozo Screen Protector

These are the ones I like so hopefully this helps, if not obviously has a lot of case. Enjoy your iPhone X!

u/Iamhedge · 1 pointr/iphone

I would highly recommend the Diztronic TPU case. I have had one on each iPhone since the 5s. It doesn't add any bulk, it isn't slippery nor too grippy. The fit is perfect and all of the cutouts are as well. Plus third party charges and 3.5mm jack cords fit. It comes in grey, black, or blue. Here is the Amazon link for the black case. Just look it all of the awesome reviews it gets.

u/edc2012 · 2 pointsr/iphone

Yep I bought this exact 2pack a couple days before release day from amazon. Work great and so far no issues at all. Great deal.

Use to be a zagg glass guy. But tired of 40$ product. I feel no difference so far between current 8$/2 and zaggs 40$/1.

Edit. Case link. Looks so damn good with matte black 7+. The clear back is awesome with nice bumper.

u/Argus1001 · 9 pointsr/iphone

Case. Hands-down. Any gripes you have with using a case will easily be squelched when you decide "just for one day" to go without a case on your phone, it slips out of your hands, and suddenly you have a smashed screen.

I've learned my lesson already. Best to get a good case and learn to love it.

Edit: And you don't have to go with a cheap-looking case. I got this: iPhone 7 Plus Case, Spigen [Rugged Armor] Resilient [Black] Ultimate protection from drops and impacts for iPhone 7 Plus (2016) - (043CS20485) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GIWGAAC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Uf85xb4AJMBPS. The protection is very good, the button pressure is just right, and the back has strips of a woven carbon pattern on the top and bottom. It looks really nice.

u/Bodgerbaz · 1 pointr/iphone

I can throughly recommend this case it not only protects the phone’s edges but gives a lot of confidence it handling it too. It feels very comfortable and looks great.

u/my_name_danny · 3 pointsr/iphone

I dont know much about the Pixelskin HD, but I have the Incipio NGP and it is amazing. It comes with a good screen protector and is probably one of the best bargains, going for 12 dollars on Amazon.

u/optikalblitz · 5 pointsr/iphone

Not a direct answer to your question, but I found Pitaka’s case and magnetic Qi charging vent clip to be the best combination. The steel plate that is molded into the case is circular which allows you to keep all wireless charging capabilities.

Magnetic Qi Mount

Mag Case

They also make a tougher case if you don’t like the slimline.

Hope this helps! I love my Pitaka stuff.

u/FrozenJackal · 1 pointr/iphone

This one is great it covers the entire front glass. I wish they made a version without the black trim and just left it clear. Even with the trim it is a great screen protector worth the 9 bucks.

I just picked up the Spigen SGP Ultra Hybrid and love it, definitely with a look for the price and I'm pretty sure it's available in a champagne color : http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E486Q9I

u/JoeMac02 · 8 pointsr/iphone

Yeah it’s been a great case. The back is clear so you get to still see your phone witch is nice. I have a couple deep scratches in mine I think from keys in my pocket and it definitely didn’t make a mark on my phone.

I bought this one suggested by another reddit user a few weeks ago and I love it. Also seems to be easier to use and cleaner looking. I love it.

u/[deleted] · 3 pointsr/iphone

I have the 6+ version of this case and I would highly recommend it for what you're looking for.

Ringke SLIM iPhone 6 Case (it used to also be on amazon but when I looked it wasn't currently listed edit: nevermind found it on amazon and updated link, SLIM-CRYSTAL is a color option)

I've also tried the Power Support Air Jacket and the Ringke Fusion case and what sold me on the SLIM is it had the best/most pleasant experience for doing swipe-to-go-back with the case on.

edit 2: the only other thing I would add is since it's a full plastic case it adds a little bit of gripability, but not a whole lot (similar, I think, to the power jacket).

u/chuby1tubby · 2 pointsr/iphone

On the protector I bought, [which is this one](TOZO for iPhone X Screen Protector Glass [ 3D Full Frame ] Technology Premium Tempered 9H Hardness 2.5D PET [Soft Edge Hybrid] Super Easy Apply for iPhone 10 / X [Black Edge] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07597BPQT?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf), I would say it doesn't highlight the notch at all. I like the black protector because it doesn't have any raised edges or weird cutouts, it's all just super smooth.

u/SBboundBRONCOS · 4 pointsr/iphone

i ordered a couple different ones.

Bought 2 of the Belkins from google express (frys + 20% first order, they were around $26/ea) and are very nice looking .. clean, simple, long cord for my desk and side table.

and also this RavPower from amazon for around $32.

both are working great so far even with a case on the 8+

u/Clienterror · -2 pointsr/iphone

I went with this case and this screen protector. They work good together, it helps keep the X slim but totally protected. I also have custom skin to show through the clear back.

u/AustinDizzy · 1 pointr/iphone

I use the Poetic Atmosphere (Grey) Case for my iPhone 5. I really like it as I'm not fond of bulky cases that increase my phone's dimensions, yet I love minimalism and a sense of security.

Here's a few pictures of my case in particular.

u/wipny · 2 pointsr/iphone

I have and can recommend this case. It's durable, has a good grippy texture on the sides, and covers the bottom of the phone.

I also have and can recommend this glass screen protector.

It's a full edge to edge glass screen protector that covers the notch. The kit it comes with makes it simple to install. Besides the very slightly misaligned ear piece, I honestly can't tell I'm using a screen protector.

u/deegr8one · 3 pointsr/iphone

Best slim case I’ve owned, it is strong and thin. It goes on sale every once in a while. Got mine for $35. The other cool thing is it has built in steel plates and can still wireless charge.

This is the best car mount I have had and it can be used with any mobile. Any use it for iphone 6 plus and the best wallet case I could find was the new spigen wallet case.

u/Stella_8 · 2 pointsr/iphone

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00D4ABOZS?pc_redir=T1&psc=1&redirect=true

Over 2 years ago, I reviewed this mount, here's what I wrote back then:

"I can vouch for this mount. I got it about 3 weeks ago for my iPhone 6+ because I'd be traveling a lot and it has held beautifuly. I have a VW beetle and the only thing is that the little foot that holds to the front panel of the factory stereo blocks/presses the buttons, so I just installed it upside down and it fits perfectly. I love it and it hasn't moved, bounced, wiggled or anything in the +5000 km I've put in my car since buying it."

Anyway, 2 years later the thing is working as new, the spring that holds the movable lip hasn't faltered, the inner lips that hold the thing in place inside the cd slot haven't damaged anything and the outside of the cd slot isn't scratched. Hope this helps.

u/bagsofsand · 1 pointr/iphone

Here is a good breakdown and comparison of car bluetooth kits from Wirecutter. They do a good job of weighing pros and cons, etc. for all kinds of stuff. They recommend the Anker SoundSync Drive and have some other pics as well depending on planned use.

u/Stonecutter · 7 pointsr/iphone

I'm currently using this one which I really like. Thin, light, and fits well. Was only like $3 when I bought it too.

http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Atmosphere-Generation-T-Mobile-Verizon/dp/B0093CDLM0

I also have a incipio pro duo which is nice ($30).

u/VegaPlz · 2 pointsr/iphone

[Spigen Ultra Hybrid ] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1SCIOV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MieyDbSQM596A) I have used it for the almost 2 years that I've had this phone, and it has survived many drops. It's thin, it looks good (in my opinion), it's cheap, and it's protective. It checks every box for me. Get this with a screen protector and you'll be all good.

u/Nigo__ET · 1 pointr/iphone

Most slim cases like Peel’s will tend to get like that. I’ve tried both the Spigen and Elago thin cases and through time they tend to get loose and let dirt in between. I would highly recommend not going with these types of cases.

You might want to just look into this snap on cases like the following :

https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-iPhone-Premium-Coating-Compatible/dp/B074CM6PRW

https://www.amazon.com/elago-Slim-Fit-iPhone-Case/dp/B075KQF6PD

https://www.amazon.com/Magcase-Material-Strongest-Durable-X-Black/dp/B075NBVRFM

For me personally these type of slim snap on cases are better as they tend to not run against the phone causing those little scratches

u/Dave_OC · 2 pointsr/iphone

It does. This is the Amazon direct link:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07845K5WW

I've tried over 8 cases, and this is my favorite. Many cases look great, but are slippery and would increase the chances of dropping the phone, or having it slip off furniture.

u/JesusFartedToo · -2 pointsr/iphone
  1. Just restore the device in iTunes. It'll take you to 7.1.2.

  2. This is a great case for the white/silver (the Crystal Clear color). http://www.amazon.com/Japanese-Protector-Graphics-Cushioned-Scratch-Resistant/dp/B00E486Q9I
u/RipTatermen · 5 pointsr/iphone

My wife is using the Incipio NGP, we both really like it. Feels good, easy to get on and off. It's too thick on the bottom to dock on my stereo, though, so I've been using a good ol' super-cheap TPU case, which is almost thin enough on the bottom. I have to stick a shim behind it, then it docks. I ordered an Otterbox Commuter before the page said it doesn't work with 4S; it fit mine just fine, it's just a huge pain in the ass to get on and off. The white part is squishy and the green part is hard, it takes a lot of finagling.

u/Chrisram88 · 1 pointr/iphone

I have two wireless chargers. When I bought my s9+ it came in a bundle with Samsung wireless charger and it also works great with my Xs. I recently picked this one up a few months back and it does the job as well Ravpower wireless charger

this one has 7.5w for iPhone and 10w for Samsung or any other capable 10w phone. It also has fast charging

EDIT : Both charging

u/aducatelli · 1 pointr/iphone

If you want a super protective case go for the Otterbox Defender Series. However, as I don't own one for the 6+ I can't comment on how it feels to hold. I had the Apple Leather Case but just picked up this case and love it to death. Hope this helps!! :)

EDIT: Formatting

u/boner79 · 1 pointr/iphone

I don't have any exerience with Acase on iPhones, but I love the leather folio one I have on my Kindle Fire. Here's the case I'm using on my iPhone 6+ and am satisfied thus far:

If you gonna buy SPIGEN's, like /u/UsedCheese said, be sure not to buy this one: Ultrahybrid. Now you ask, why shouldnt you, it looks great! Well... I've bought it and yes, it looks great in the first week... Then this glass on the back gets milions of scratches for no reason (i keep phone in my pocket and never actually dropped it). Of course, it protects well (I think), but the look on the back after month of usage is horrible, looks like the case is at least year old. :S

u/damndaniel02 · 1 pointr/iphone

I just got the Spigen ultra hybrid air cushion case yesterday. I got the black bumper with the clear back. It feels awesome and looks good! I had the black Apple leather case on for about a week, it was a good case but I wanted something different. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JH8398Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1469162959&sr=8-14&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=iphone6s+plus+spigen

u/zb_xy · 2 pointsr/iphone

Absolutely. Anker make's a good one for $10. Your case needs to be less than 5mm thick and can't be metal. Also, no pop-socket or things like that. You can't use the normal Apple charging brick though, it needs to be one like this (offbrand, 3-pack) or this (Anker brand, single).

u/Will7357 · 2 pointsr/iphone

That is built into the cost of purchasing the original glass. You're essentially paying insurance and you don't even know it. There is a reason why their prices are higher than others.

I got a two pack ($8 shipped) of Spigen glass t.r for my 7+ and it fits perfectly and has an oleophobic coating.

Edit: link. Don't know why they're OOS though.

u/gngstrMNKY · 1 pointr/iphone

I prefer a TPU case like this one from Diztronic. TPU is thin while protecting better than hard cases. It's cheap and also looks anonymous which I value.

I'd recommend the [Poetic Atmosphere] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0093CDLM0/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00) case. It is incredibly thin and semi-transparent so you can still view the beauty of your phone. What colour iPhone 5 did you get?

Thin form factor, great all around protection, looks sleek on the matte black iPhone. You won't be disappointed.

u/rexbot · 2 pointsr/iphone

I hate any and all cases that have a window for the Apple logo. I don't know why that caught on.

I have an Incipio NGP and it's the best case for me. I love it.

This one comes with a plastic frame that snaps on the phone to help with alignment. By far the easiest screen protector I’ve ever installed. I always put them on the kiddos phones. I’ve never really used one in the past. My 8+ had zero scratches after more than a year of use. I got an XS Max and went without. Within a week I had 3 fairly deep scratches. I took it back and apple exchanged it. I immediately installed a protector on the new phone. Not sure which phone you have but I’m sure these guys make a protector for all models.

Why pay $40 for this case when you can get a near identical Poetic Atmosphere for $9.00.. unless I'm missing a major difference. The Atmosphere is a great case and it looks nice too.

edit: Apparently the case you linked has some kind of film for the front screen. I still wouldn't pay that much for that case though.

u/Snywalker · 6 pointsr/iphone

I’ve been a fan of the clear Spigen cases for many iPhone generations. I think I’ve been using them since the 6.

I like how transparent they are, so you can still see the phone. It’s also pretty durable, and provides decent shock absorption.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid!

Great quality case for under 10 bucks.

u/TIFUbyResponding · 1 pointr/iphone

It's such a rip-off. Get some Spigen glass screen protectors from Amazon, they're $8 for a pair. You can put it on yourself VERY easily, it's a lot easier than those awful feeling film protectors. Just go slow, line it up right, lay it down slowly.

Eh, Anker has a 7.5W wireless charger for under $17 right now. You need a QC-compatible wall charger to go with it, but Anker also has one of those for $13.99. The total cost for the whole setup is a bit over $30. That's pretty cheap by my standards...

u/sglville · 1 pointr/iphone

Are you sure, because for example this Ravpower one says 7.5W on iphone X/8/8+ and 10W on Samsung https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-RAVPower-HyperAir-Charging-Qi-Enabled/dp/B075FHY8MB/

Again I have not dug into the reviews and details but this company has been making 3rd party batteries, chargers, and mobile accessories for a while

I use a different charger from them, but I’ve always liked Anker’s stuff, here’s a fast charger from them. Anker Charger

I bought the RAVPower one on Amazon for $50. What I liked about it vs the Apple sold ones is that it uses Micro USB and comes with a highspeed USB charger. The ones apple sells uses a proprietary power cable (both the belkin and the mophie) which means having to carry another power cable with me when I travel.

Get this or one like it. I can't even tell I have it on but I have a case on it too. Even with case off, it's not bad.

I bought this
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LL987W2/ref=pe_385040_121528360_TE_dp_1

Only thing I don't really like is the kickstand it is only for landscape. My old case for the 4s, the stand allowed both positions. Also the power button is hard to push. But if I try a push on the very top edge of the button it works better.

But it is one of the thinnest cases that was not just a jell case and did not add a bunch of bulk.

I gotta vote for the Spigen ultra hybrid and a tempered glass screen protector. I got the clear one for both my phone and my wifes. We have both dropped ours onto tile floors and concrete garage and no damage at all. http://www.amazon.com/Japanese-Protector-Graphics-Cushioned-Scratch-Resistant/dp/B00E486Q9I . Are there any lightning charging / 3.5 mm audio splitters that hold up? I have a cheap one from Amazon that's giving me the "accessory may not be supported" warning after a couple months. I see the Belkin one on Apple's site, but it has some of the same sort of reviews on Amazon.

u/MadMennonite · 7 pointsr/iphone

Get this one from Anker. It's Wirecutter's top pick and $20

Edit: I've also been rocking the iClever Himbox HB01 for a while now.

Spigen sells the 7 plus one for the same price

Should take into account for the wider speaker on top

u/EndOfTheDream · 2 pointsr/iphone

Not sure if you purchased or not yet but I would recommend going for the 3.5mm audio + charge rockstar instead of that one so you omit a dongle and reduce the chance of something going wrong! It's this one.

u/johnnyboi1994 · 6 pointsr/iphone

I have this and I can’t tell it’s there anymore (least In a spigen case). I also found that touching the screen by itself created more friction I guess from the oils in my finger.

Pitaka Case

Compared to most cases, Lower than average protection, much higher than average look and feel. The former of which is easier to swallow with AppleCare

u/cry0sync · 5 pointsr/iphone

Belkin makes a splitter with a 3.5mm port and a lightning port for charging. It’s MFi certified, and seems to have decent reviews. That being said, I do not own this device or have anecdotal experience with it. Link below, if you want to check it out.

I use the Anker SoundSync with a 2 port USB power outlet in my vehicle and it works great. Connects up extremely quickly and automatically when I power the car on. I can charge no problem, does phone calls and music, there's no buzzing and it's low profile and hidden out of the way. If I wanted to I could probably route it into the glove box to be even more hidden but that doesn't seem necessary.

u/ThePanduuh · 5 pointsr/iphone

I picked up an anker 24W 2 port charger in 2016 (amazon order searched for it). link

Charges the phone very quick for an $11 charger. I put my 8+ on the charger at ~3% yesterday and 15-20 minutes later it was at 35%.

Why people still use the 5W brick is kinda odd to me. I only use it for overnight charging where speed isn’t a requirement. Why would anyone buy the $70 brick + cable required to “fast charge” when you can just buy the $11 brick and get just as fast of a charge? At least normal people, if you’re buying gold Apple watches and 512GB iPhone XS Max then you’d probably buy the official brick.

Some of the inexpensive accessories on Amazon use low quality parts that don't work the best with Apple's stuff. This Belkin RockStar is even sold in Apple Stores, so it should work, although I've never used one: https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Charge-RockStar-Adapter-iPhone/dp/B074WDWVX1

Yeah. Sorry I accidentally linked the wrong one. Here

u/egzwygart · 2 pointsr/iphone

I'm a huge fan of my Poetic Atmosphere case. It fits very, very slim, shows off the phone and also does pretty well with drop protection. There is one gripe that people seem to have about the case design: the rubbery bumper material (the colored part of the case, the rest is hard plastic) on the bottom front edge of the phone may stretch a bit. That said, it's not something I've had a problem with, and I've had the same case since March. If it does bug you, you can always just take a pair of scissors to it.

Edit: One more thing. The phone and case must be clean before you put the case on, because it's a bitch to get off. You won't damage or scuff the phone removing it by any means, but it IS a pain in the ass. Par for the course with cases that are slim and form fitting like this.

It advertises its thinness and drop protection skills and it failed me on one drop aimed at a corner.
