Oh that's awesome! Just be aware that Civics of that vintage are high theft targets, both cause parts are easy to sell off and also cause they're easy to steal. It's not just Milwaukee... that car would be a target in most big cities. Get some backup auto protection like this

Steering wheel clubs aren't that effective because it's very easy to cut through the steering wheel with a hacksaw.

I really like the boots I got from Red Wing Shoes in Brookfield. Mine are the Vasque brand, they started out pretty stiff, so make sure you break them in before your trip. One of the eyelets on the upper came out after a while and they fixed it for free.

If you don't find anything you like there, REI is just a couple miles north. I think they've got a sale starting on the 11th.

EDIT: I've also worn the tread off of several pairs of these Timberlands: https://www.amazon.com/Timberland-15130-Chocurua-Trail-Brown/dp/B000VX1BWW/ref=sr_1_7?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1478407671&sr=1-7&nodeID=679255011&keywords=timberland%2Bboots%2Bfor%2Bmen&th=1

I recently sent this book of cryptograms to my brother-in-law who is deployed in Middle East. Not from Milwaukee newspaper, but might be another option if you just want the puzzles.

Pain, like everything in life, is impermanent. The notion that it is permanent is what is daunting. Once you accept that this situation, like every other in your life, is temporary and will come to pass, it will be a lot easier to deal with.

I don't have any delusions about reading a book curing you, but it might make it easier. Read this:

I've been looking for a place to find fresh passion fruit around the MKE area since I discovered their wonder in Australia a few years back. Not a very easy thing to find. The best bet I have found is buying it on Amazon. You can find passion fruit puree on Amazon as well. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, but always have considered it!

If you're going for a 1940s look, I'd recommend a leather or canvas band, which are harder to find in Wal-Mart, Target, etc. If you go to a jewelry store, you'll pay ridiculous prices. If you're open to buying online, here are a few quick recommendations from Amazon:

Citizen Men's BM8240-03E

Orient Bambino

Bulova 96A102

Citizen Men's BM8180-03E

I'm not sure how important that it looks like it's from the 1940s. IMO, any of these watches should look fine from the audience. You might want to ask /r/watches for recommendations!

This what they use as textbook in college photography courses. Get used one or earlier edition on eBay to save some money.

A few tips, use the Untapped app to find beer. I just did a search for New Grist in Lincoln Nebraska and there was a liquor store called The Still that said they had it. Not sure where you are, but Untapped may be of assistance.

Have you figured out her tolereance? My wife has celiac and she is able to drink a few Modelo Especials or corona’s without issue. They have low ppm of gluten. If your wife is ultra sensitive, then she would likely have an issue. This list is decent to judge.

Side note, my wife has found that when she had a reaction, taking charcoal tablets helps. It doesn’t cure it, but makes the reaction tolerable.

Nature's Way Charcoal Activated; 560 mg Charcoal per serving; 100 Capsules (Packaging May Vary) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006LCQ4Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jMUtDbHVH99KV

Invest in a safety razor.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000NL0T1G

The initial purchase for the razor itself will run you $30-$40, but after that you only need to buy the blades. I buy Gillette Platinums, which are $6 for a 5-pack at The Art of Shaving.

u/LongUsername · 3 pointsr/milwaukee

Holy crap, I knew AOS was expensive, but that takes the cake.

I bought 100 Astra blades off Amazon for $9

Gillette Super-platinum are $5.80/15.

They make some louder aftermarket horns for the bikes that can actually be heard at highway speeds.

I have the Onyx Plus in my winter vehicle and a factory radio with Sirius in my summer car. For the Onyx Plus, I used the web page I linked earlier to find five frequencies that would work in the Milwaukee area. I believe I have the Onyx Plus set for 92.9 currently.

I did order this from amazon to get rid of the FM frequency game:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KGLL84

I will install that in my winter vehicle in the next day or two.

Yup. This stuff was a life saver when walking through Peruvian forests.

I'd hardly call 1.5 keys of heroin or 2 keys of coke a big bust. Just THINK about how many narcotics, guns and cash are coming in and leaving un-detected. This is just a mere drop in the bucket to the cartels. If you seriously think this will do anything to deter drugs flowing in from Mexico/Cali you need to do more reading. I'd start with the book below it did a fantastic job going over the push and pull of narcotics and money.

I have this antenna Channel Master CM-4228HD High VHF, UHF and HDTV Antenna https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FVVKQM/

It's indoor in my attic. I can't seem to figure out why it won't come through for me. My TV Fool report says that it should come through. I'll figure it out at a later date, I guess. I won't be in my current house forever.

If you have the space, I highly recommend you buy your own. I have this lil guy and it's great. Small and fairly light weight, but more than enough to fill your tires, run a nail/staple gun, and clean out your garage with a spray nozzle attachment.

I got sick of scrounging for quarters. And now I have no excuse for riding on under-inflated tires or waiting for them to be embarrassingly low.
