In OP's picture that's actually one of those bendy, "octopus" style phone tripods, with the legs bent around the handlebars to secure the phone.

Looks like you could get one on Amazon for about $7.50
(that was the cheapest one I saw that was Prime eligible, there are lots of different ones for sale), or I'm sure any Best Buy (or similar electronics store) would have them too.

Alternately there are actual phone bike mounts such as this one
(again, just copied and pasted the cheapest one I saw in the first 5 seconds, best to do your own research)
which would be less risky since they're actually designed to do that.

I use this 20,000mah as my emergency backup, or long day charger

https://www.amazon.com/20000mAh-Compact-Portable-Charger-External/dp/B01191S0VY

and this 6,000mah for when im just riding my bike around for a few hours or at work.

http://www.microcenter.com/product/450068/6,000mAh_Rechargeable_Backup_USB_Powerbank

both of them charge fast enough that I can not only keep my phone on an open the entire time, but itll actually gain charge while playing. I bought the 6,000mah first then found the 20,000 on sale on Amazon the very next day. If I had to choose only one I would just buy the 20,000 because its like 10 bucks more expensive right now for 3x the charge. It is pretty big tho, fits in a pocket but its heavy so i prefer to use a backpack or manpurse

Jackery Giant+ Premium 12000 mAh Dual USB Portable Battery Charger & External Battery Pack with Panasonic Battery Cells and Aluminum Shell for iPhone, iPad, Galaxy, and Android Smart Devices (Gold) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JEM3CUA/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_TurHxbH6PATZR

This is what I have. Its pretty good and I've had it since last black Friday. Yes it was on sale.

Or get a muff with a window, something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Hot-Shot-Mens-Textpac-Hand/dp/B00W9ODCVY

I made something along those lines myself, but need to improve it a little, it was just a tad to small to comfortably use a larger phone.

Here's a book I had growing up, you may be able to pick up a cheap used copy. It will go over the first generation of Pokemon that are currently available in Go, however the strategy portion mainly relates to the original games. Things like which type is strong against which will probably be in there though.

I would personally recommend this one. It is incredible. It has USB-C qualcomm quick charge which I absolutely LOVE.

20000mAh battery for super cheap compared to stores that charge like $50 for 6000mAh.
Fast charge also

The title of the manga is Pokemon Adventures. The link is a box set on amazon of the Kanto adventures.

Pokémon Adventures (7 Volume Set) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1421550067/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_-FBExbDERZQZB

u/DetachableMonkey · 1 pointr/pokemongo

This works great for my bike. I can highly recommend it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V54CLNO

u/AChimimunima · 2 pointsr/pokemongo

I can recommend this one, very happy with it iMuto 20000mAh.

u/tiffysy · 6 pointsr/pokemongo

I've been using this mount and a gotcha when I go on bike rides, it's great.

I just picked up https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01191S0VY/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for $33, the reviews looked pretty solid and it does the adaptive fast charging for the galaxy phones if there's only one thing charging.

u/LiberatedMoose · 1 pointr/pokemongo

This one is fantastic: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JEM3CUA
It even maintains a full charge if you don't use it for weeks at a time.

u/Elongated_Eggplant · 7 pointsr/pokemongo

Most of the manga (up to BW2, including FRLF and HGSS remakes) have been translated into English and are avaliable on Amazon as physical prints. For the US release, the earlier regions/games are split up into box-sets containing all the books of their respective arc.

Here's the first set: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1421550067

EDIT: XY series is currently being released as individual volumes in the US, with Vol. 8 coming in October. You can either buy them individually for ~$5 each or wait for the eventual box-set.

u/Evillar · 1 pointr/pokemongo

According to this it'll only take 8 hours due to double 2A inputs. I got a wall port pretty much specifically for it

u/iChunky02 · 5 pointsr/pokemongo

I use this one. I also have the exact same one mounted on my motorcycle. So you won't have to worry about your phone falling off. It handles bumps and 70mph+. Plus it has prime shipping available. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V54CLNO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_QHHNxb0V5RNFE

EDIT: I have a Note 3, a pretty bulky phonr and it still has room for a bigger phone.

u/HarlockJC · 3 pointsr/pokemongo

Brings back flashbacks...I owned a card store when the Yugioh card sleeve was out, and I use to have a number of kids that would play with this huge device on their arm taking up space https://www.amazon.com/Mattel-69025-Yu-Gi-Oh-Duel-Accessory/dp/B00009VE2N

u/vardarac · 85 pointsr/pokemongo

Personally, I'd go with something like this

u/HopelessClevelander · 5 pointsr/pokemongo

I bought this one off of Amazon and it hasn't failed me yet. Probably cheaper than what you're looking for though.

Are you on iOS or Android?

If you are on iOS, then downloading from the App Store should work.

If you are on Android, then the APK file can be downloaded from APK Mirror.

If you are on Windows Phone, then you probably already bought one of these or these from Amazon, and you can download the aforementioned APK file from APK Mirror to that device.

LIBRARIAN GAYLE, May I suggest seeing if you can get a set of these badges, not neccisarily that specific set as they are on the expensive side for Gym Badges, but a set of badges that aren't pictures on buttons. After your patrons get all 8 of the button badges that you made and you do the drawing for the book perhaps make a new goal where someone with all 8 badges can do quests for defeating the elite four. After completing all those challenges they can be entered for another book and the deluxe badge set.

Suggestions for E4 challenges:

Find a book in the reference section of the library and tell LIBRARIAN GAYLE a fact you learned and what book you learned it from.

Check out a book from the library and write a review for it for LIBRARIAN GAYLE to display in the library.

Check out an audiobook or movie and write a review for it for LIBRARIAN GAYLE to display in the library.

Ask to see periodicals from your birthdate, tell LIBRARIAN GAYLE an interesting event that was in the paper from the day of your birth.

Attend an event held at the library (for instance, the MtG group event that meets weekly).

Nexus 5x $250

Moto G $150

Both 16gb and wont give much problems for being a cheap lower end smart phone.

Pokedex 3D Pro and the old Pokemon Handbook (can't link to the page but you can click Look Inside) both pronounce it Ruh-Ta-Tah.

u/strifezero · 2 pointsr/pokemongo

To put it simply mAh is the capacity of the battery and the A is the charging speed.

e.g. If you had Powerbank A with 2500 mAh and 2.4A and Powerbank B with 5000mAh and 2.1A

Powerbank B can hold more charge than Powerbank A but A will charge your devices faster than B. I personally have this one:

I opted for this solar panel that I clipped to my pack
Anker 21W 2-Port USB Solar Charger PowerPort Solar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012YUJJM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_pQqpxb8KC7RYY

u/Blu_T · 1 pointr/pokemongo

Oh, for the Anker I had a USB type A to USB type C cable. Not sure on 2.0 vs. 3.0.

I got this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0156HCJQO

Maybe some sort of muff with a plastic window to see your mobile phone screen?

This is all I can find online: http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Shot-Mens-Textpac-Hand/dp/B00W9ODCVY , but if you're crafty you could probably make one, or something similar.

I'm not sure how convenient a muff would be though.

u/Anticode · -1 pointsr/pokemongo

Replace the battery. The low battery indicator has been deactivated for some reason.

You should be able to find them at your local supermarket.
