Hey! First, the purging thing. I highly recommend getting this book! Set aside a day, read it while you're going through all your belongings, and follow her suggestions. It's SO helpful and makes the entire process streamlined and easy.

Looking for an apartment can be overwhelming, but I know you can do it :) I've had 3 different apartments in the past 4 years, and the whole process was really foreign to me at first too. I can PM you some tips and things to look out for so I don't clog up this thread haha.

As far as making friends go, I'm still struggling with that. I was lucky that my best friend decided to move with me (1000 miles from our hometown!), but I've tried to make some new friends too. I mostly "hang out" with coworkers because I don't know how to meet people either. You could try signing up for things and meeting people there? Sign up for a gym and take a free class there, or maybe try one of those Paint Nites where you drink and paint! Usually by the end people are looking at each other's paintings and chatting and having a nice time :) I hope this helps a little!

Just looked up Centrum Adults! It actually looks decent! The main issue with those gummy multivitamins is how they're not comprehensive enough for people like us with messed up diets, like how they often lack adequate vitamin A, panthothenic acid, and other more obscure nutrients. Typically, those candylike vitamins are heavy on vitamin C and the vitamin B family, which are definitely not enough. If I were you, I'd keep on taking the Centrum if you want! I researched multivitamins here on Labdoor and I personally take these. Also, friendly advice that horse pills are way, way easier to swallow if you swallow them with food! I hate swallowing pills with just liquid. I gag. But if I eat food like I chew it up, still have it in my mouth, and pop the pill in the there, I can swallow it easily as long as I move the pill towards the back of my throat ideally nestled in the food I'm going to swallow. It might sound gross, but it makes life so much easier. My personal favorite way to take vitamins is with yoghurt like that. I often don't even feel the horse pills I swallow down. Take care! :D

I use this brand! there may be cheaper/better options out there but I didn't want to spend 5 years researching it when I started so I just went with what looked best for the best price :D

There's this vegan cook book I know called "The Vegan Stoner" with quick, easily recipes. And I'm sure that they'd be pretty healthy things, like broccoli and carrots. It's a little bit pricey but it might help you on cutting cals when it comes to munchies :)

I like a nice cold diet chocolate fudge soda.

For some reason it's kind of flat when it's not cold, but it's perfect once it is.

They make different ones, like flavored ones or ones that dissolve completely so you can't tell a taste or texture difference, but those usually have extra calories for the same amount of fiber.

This is the one I get: https://www.amazon.com/Yerba-Prima-Psyllium-Powder-Ounce/dp/B00012NG1W

It definitely makes the water thicker and it has kind of a nutty flavor to it, but I kind of like that. I'll usually drink it slowly over about 30 minutes in the evening. You really do need to make sure you drink alot of water with it though as the water makes the fiber swell, and it can be a choking hazard if you don't drink at least 8oz of water with it. Like I said, I usually mix it into at least 0.5L.

A good flex nib pen is $30-$50 (cheap are $5-$15) and a huge bottle of India ink is like $12. So initial cost may be a bit pricey but the reoccurring costs (ink and paper) are definitely not

Good beginner's set for approx $12 -- Speedball Calligraphy Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BYU186/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_RruazbJHC0MJ1

This book has been helpful to some people who are trying to stop binge eating: https://www.amazon.com/Brain-over-Binge-Recovery-Guide/dp/0984481745/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1500762860&sr=8-2&keywords=binge+eating

Didn't work for me, but a lot of people found it to be a useful tool.

I bought a mini measure.

Also, I use Silk soy creamer in my coffee, and it is only 20 calories per tbsp. So Delicious makes a similar product with coconut milk, and that one is only 10 calories per tbsp.

I work at a ketonic diet clinic, and this is definitely true! Ketosis makes your breath/body odor more pungent than usual.

I’ve noticed that during fasting my mouth has a bitter taste and is super dry, so I started trying out these Spry mints made for ketonic diets that we have in stock. They work WONDERS. I don’t remember how much they cost, but I keep a jar of like 200 with me at all times. They’re only 1 calorie per mint, so I eat them like candy; kills two birds with one stone.

EDIT: Found them on Amazon.

I think that’s the exact one I use... I got it on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007Y9WHQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_IimWBb70GBZ5Q

I love that you can change the blades and idk $22 was within my budget. The only issue I have is that it’s hard to clean but I think that goes for most spiralizers.

Here are two different discreet covers :)

u/Thunder2WonderThighs · 3 pointsr/proED

I have this one but I'm sure that would work too!
Ajinomoto Soup Stock Hondashi https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000CNU0C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_MJ0IAbZQ9YMXJ

Have you thought about getting an actual diet journal? I have this one and I really like it.

u/cinnamoncactus · 1 pointr/proED

I have this version of that book https://www.amazon.com/Illustrated-Dream-Dictionary-PAMELA-BALL/dp/1435108019/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1487610511&sr=1-3&keywords=pamela+ball+dream+dictionary
I'm pretty sure they're just different editions, but the one I have has more pictures and has more things to look up in it, I have seen the one you linked before though in stores so either one probably works!
