You can even use the cheap acrylic paint at Walmart. Just thin it. At 50 cents it was a good way to get a fair number of colors to practice with. I would just make sure to get a decent primer.
This primer is what I like. Does not need thinning. Nice coverage without being too thick. Love it.
Cheap brushes are cheap but beginners are hard on brushes so cheap is good to start with. When brushes go bad they can be used for dry brushing or mixing or for long haired folk putting your hair up πππ
Here are cheap ones so does not hurt when they go bad. Not 100% sure but think these are what the teacher of a class I recently took uses for most of his painting that is not air brushed.
