Hopefully you got some practice time in. No point in having a gun if you don't know how to use it. Learn the 4 rules of gun safety. Practice as much as you can until everything is muscle memory. Buy snap caps at a local gun store and mix them in with live shells at the range. It will help you simulate a failure to fire. Load the snap caps only at home and practice cycling the shotgun.
