I agree with you. Haribo are inferior. That said, a great deal of people really love them, and this is pretty subjective. I doubt that fruit juice in the gummy bear makes them all that much better for you than extracts, either.

Never noticed that. This Reddit thread says it's the name of the company that actually makes them - Here you can order them directly. Apparently, they seem to handle a lot of private-label manufacturing.
