Did you try any of these items? I'm not able to apply it to any computer part I try, including the AsRock H110 you linked.

Really wanted to grab a Kraken X31, but I'll just wait for now.

EDIT: Just tried every item on that list and get the following error: "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase." I haven't used the promo on any item yet, because every computer part I've tried gives me that error :(

The Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer 240 is a goddamned bank heist: $95 at Amazon.

60% the cost for 99.2% the noise-normalized peak performance of the X62.

Insane.

You can get an AIO for 75 quid https://www.amazon.co.uk/Liquid-Freezer-240-Performance-Radiator/dp/B013WAY9UQ

Not a requirement for overclocking the 1600 though.

The price/performance ratio for most 120mm AIO is not very good. You can get a 240mm for about $10 more if your case has the room to handle it.

I'm using the Arctic Freezer 240 and get max load temps of 49-54C with my [email protected] and 1.35V. The fluctuation is due to the ambient temperature in my room fluctuating a lot.

A six-core cpu, fitting fast ram, high quality psu, M.2 NVMe SSD and a mainboard with RGB.

I put 32GB in here since you asked, but for the things you mentioned you definitely do not need 32GB. You should drop to 16GB if the PC is really for gaming. A kit with some LEDs is then also easier possible. The cpu comes already with a good air cooler, to put an AIO on it is not a good use of your money. But if you really want to have one in there I'd recommend the Arctic Liquid Freezer 240.

I was having BSOD and lock ups last week, ran hardware checks, CPU was RED HOT with a small radiator on it. So I got a bigger one, now all is good in the world.

yeah on amazon it's cheaper. Still though, 9 euros is negligible if you consider this thing gives you the perfomance of a 160 euro AIO

Yeah that's with it at Max perf, but it's a really dirty windows install.

Using an Arctic cooling 240mm cooler. It's amazing

I will say that the case made a difference too. I went from a thermaltake overseer rxi to a cm MasterCase pro 5. And my temps dropped by 20c

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013WAY9UQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_gsT-BbZVEJBYX here you have the 240 I forgot that it has the push pull configuration. So with 240 you will have more than enough.

DUDE, this is perfect... I have Fractal Desing R5, this one!.

Does it support AM4 CPUs? AMAZON!

What about this!

u/Maastersplinter · 1 pointr/buildapc

Don't be. I've ran AIO's for many years and never had one issue. My current build is close to yours and I trust my AIO I've got this one. I won't ever go back to air cooling. I would highly suggest reading this article I would be weary of building a cooling system myself, because of all the connections that could leak, which is why I always stick with an AIO.

Perhaps consider the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer 240. It's a pretty beastly cooler and goes for about the same price as the D15. You can check out a review here.

Though TBH, if you're only aiming for ~4.4GHz you can get away with something quite a bit cheaper like the Macho Rev. B. It's actually not far off the D15 in performance, you can check out a review here.

As for the PSU I'd probably go with the SuperFlower Leadex Gold, but the RMx is probably just as good.

I am ready to pull the trigger on this one;

Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 CPU Cooler with 120mm Low Noise Fans, 240 x120mm Radiator, MX4 Thermal Compound Cooling https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013WAY9UQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Y1YIyb33AX38V

My cpu is a virgin i7 4790k which I will start to OC after cooler installation, case is define r5, I will be putting the radiator to the front as intake, I am not worried too much about the fit as its a higly modular case, but any insight and last second comments will help and welcomed.
