> The only reason shows on premium cable channels exist is to generate subscriptions to said premium cable channels.
Not the only reason. Premium channels have a few more revenue streams. They can also sell streaming rights (both domestically and internationally), sell the show a la carte, sell physical DVDs, etc. Basically they make money doing everything cable networks do, except subscription revenue is a replacement for ad revenue.
There's some level of value in having a show that's critically acclaimed even if there's low ratings, since it increases it's value in those other revenue streams. If a show is low budget (and I have no idea if that's true for Ash vs. Evil Dead), this especially might make sense.
Ash vs the Evil Dead is also $19.99 at Amazon lowest price yet.

Here's a copy (used but it just came out so it's likely new) for $30.91 which converts to £23.81 inc shipping and ships to the UK. Or you can buy it new from Amazon US itself for $39.53 which converts to £30.45.

There are many things on my list. But if I had to pick, I would say either the BluRay of Ash Vs. Evil Dead or The Art of the Uncharted Trilogy which can be found used in good shape for less than $25.
I have an offering of a single tator tot for Queen Lily, for I am from a poor country and have little to offer in the way of fried potatoes.
Where have you been all my life, Chris?
