Have you looked into powerlines? I have a belkin model, and it works very well for me. I bought them years ago for $100, at this price it's totally worth trying.

$36. Increased my PS4 connection from 16M (wifi) to 45-50M (which is what I pay for. 50Up and 50Down)

I have [these] (http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Powerline-Network-adapters-included/dp/B005O0R9UA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1422325247&sr=8-2&keywords=powerline+adapter), probably similar to what you're looking at, but I haven't used mine in a long while and are just sitting around

I don't know the specifics, but you plug one into the wall and connect it to your router. Then plug the other into the wall next to your Xbox and plug it in.

Something like this.

My uncle used the Belkin Powerline AV500 adapters for a long time in his huge-ass house. They worked very well.

We used a total of 4 in his house. One fed the other 3.
