I ordered mine a few days go, and yes it definitively is a dream come true for the unplugged. I only get a Madden game every 3 or 4 years, but seeing how stacked the seahawks' roster is this year I knew it would be fun to play for years to come, and for just forty bucks extra comes access to every nfl game-? fuck yes!

Since there may be some people who have never hooked up their computer to the TV but are interested in this deal...
... Don't overspend on HDMI cords! They are the most overpriced item ever, with places like Radioshack charging $20 for a 3 foot cord, my god. Amazon has 6 ft cords for 5.99

Also I need a small clarification on the redzone channel... If we are in the 'schmuck' category (a person who buys the $100 dollar game but has nothing to do with directTV,) do we get the redzone channel? I was a bit confused by the level of service.
edit: it looks like it does!
Also, does anyone else think they may be bluffing about only 100,000 units available with the package? If so, I'm surprised they are still available

Gotcha, well sounds like 120Hz through HDMI is going to be your best option until you have some equipment to unlock the power of that 144Hz.

I have a 144Hz monitor but have never run it at 120Hz to see if there is a noticeable difference. Either one is a HUGE step up from 60Hz and will look like butter to your eyes until you get used to it.

Then if you ever go back to 60Hz the game looks almost unplayable.

edit: Something like this should work

I buy stuff on MonoPrice all the time buy Amazon is really starting to give them a run for their money. Monoprice is great when ordering a lot of cables but its typically cheaper to just go to Amazon if getting only one or two. Heres the HDMI cables I use which are great quality, cheap, and have Prime Shipping:

Yeah, Radioshack sells them for $50.
If you want an HDMI cable, I'd suggest getting this

I've bought a bucketload of HDMI cables over the years, and have never had any issues with these guys (BlueRigger). They're cheap, but have very decent build quality. Their 4-packs are really well priced too.

Or there's Monoprice, you can't go wrong with Monoprice.
