It's a bit off budget that one, sadly. I settled for a CM storm xornet

I have a 24" Asus LED LCD Monitor that I've had for a month and is all boxed up if you are interested in purchasing it. It is in pretty good condition I'd say (no dead pixels). Here's the link on amazon. I'd sell it for $150ish if you are interested.

Also, I have a CM Storm Xornet mouse I could sell you for $17 that I used for maybe two months, and I still have the original packaging.

CM Storm XorNet mouse

It's a gaming mouse with a few extra buttons and 3 dpi setting, but really it's just damn comfortable. If you look at some pics, you'll notice the resting spot on the right side for a third finger. This makes all the difference. I hold my mouse differently now and it's much less stress full on my hand. I ended up getting one for work too because I find this shape so much more comfortable than a regular mouse now.

TLDR this mouse is everything I could ever want in a mid range gaming mouse

I use a Microsoft sidewinder x3 as recommended by an IRL friend. I love it. It all kind of depends on how you grip your mouse. If you claw there is a cooler master mouse I will link in a few.

That's tough, I would recommend sticking with membrane keyboards and probably an optical mouse, since they run cheaper. The CM Storm Xornet seems like a popular mouse, that with a G105 would be a good step in the right direction.

I like the CM Storm Xornet.

I use a Naga now, but that Xornet served me well.

u/Acknown3 · 1 pointr/buildapc

I don't have any experience with it, but the CM Xornet seems to have good reviews.

Yep! I love it. It's small, but the size and shape works for me. A great portable mouse. It even comes with a nice little neoprene case.

On my gaming rig, however, I use this surprisingly awesome USB mouse:

Also only $20 and incredibly good for the price. I don't know why people spend $80 on a mouse.

I have the CoolMaster Xornet:
http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Xornet-Switches-SGM-2001-BLON1/dp/B005TEPB74/

It was 40$US when I bought it after three 70$+ mice failing during use. So far, it's been great use- and quality-wise and if it does break, it's a lot cheaper to replace than high-end mice.

CM Storm Xornet if you are a claw user (your hand doesn't rest entirely on the mouse and you use fingertips to click.) It looks like the weirdest mouse in the world but it FEELS SO GOOD.

They go on sale periodically for around $10-15. Best mouse i've used for my smaller hand size + grip style.

To add to what doug4130 said, I would suggest investing in an inexpensive gaming mouse. If you really like MMOs, it's totally worth it. You can get a decent 5 button mouse on Amazon for pretty cheap. This is the mouse I use and it's just $40.00. If that's too expensive even going with something like this for $20.00 will really enhance your play experience.

Look at it this way, you spent $60 on a game you can't play right now. You can either eat the loss, or put up another $20 which may help you a ton.

This game definitely requires a lot more skill than WoW. That's a simple fact. However, once you get the hang of it you can pretty easily do any PvE content, it's just the higher level Fractals and some dungeons you'll have problems with. However, a good mouse that you can set a lot of hotkeys on will, I promise you, help a ton.

Ah thank you! This is very helpful. Since my mouse has physical buttons to switch dpi to 2000/1000/500 I'm hoping it would be able to handle 2000 without feathering, but I suppose I'll have to play with it and see if I can tell a difference. I dunno if it matters but it's an optical mouse.

At this point I'm considering lowering my sensitivity further but I guess I wondering at what point does it become silly, you know? I have seen a drastic inprovement in my accuracy, I just want to see if I can get a little more. For instance my current sensitivity requires me to glide the mouse 21.5 inches to do a 360 degree turn. Considering my mouse is usually kept at the center of the mousepad and not a far corner, that would mean I would need a 43 inch wide mouse pad.

I got this keyboard and mouse

Love them both.

The keyboard is a tenkeyless blue switch mechanical keyboard and I believe the mouse is fairly good for gaming. I don't know all the mumbo jumbo about dpi (or if you can feel the difference when you upgrade) but I used it for diablo 3, skyrim, l4d2 etc etc without any problems.

I bought the CM Storm Xornet a couple years ago because I just wanted a couple extra thumb buttons. It's kind of flatter than other mice I've tried, and I think that makes it fit my small hands pretty well. I'm looking to get a different mouse soon (because I want more buttons), but I still like this one a lot.

u/scrottiemac · 1 pointr/pcgaming

This is what I have. Not too many buttons. I play wow along with many other games and have zero problems.

Games: osu! and Overwatch

Hand Preference: Right

Budget: $50

Hand Size: 18 cm x 10 cm

Grip: Palm

Weight: Light

Sensitivity: Low (1000 dpi)

Additional Details: Looking to buy a mouse and cloth mat since my current CM Storm Xornet has inconsistent friction (most likely from worn feet) after four years of abuse. Currently using it on a wooden desk at 1000 dpi & 1000 Hz. I really like the shape of the mouse, but the original has been discontinued and the II is currently in EoL (still available).

What I have in mind are the mentioned Xornet II on a Qck, but a lot of the reviews mentioned buggy firmware/software releases. The mouse has had several years to improve, so I was wondering if they've fixed some of the issues or if there's an alternative to the ergonomic shape (105 mm x 70 mm).

u/johnnyp42 · 1 pointr/buildapc

Not a lot of options at that price but the xornet is pretty close at $30 or so. Generally good reviews, decent switches, good sensor, adjustable dpi.
I know of nothing any cheaper that I'd call a gaming mouse that's decent. Here's one on amazon but the shipping will push it up to about $35 Newegg had them for 25 but they seem to be out of stock.

Could try asking in /r/mousereview also

I'm not a very serious pc gamer but I use a pretty low key mouse from coolermaster

this one

I love the shit out of it since it feels like it fits my hands perfectly and has a shape like no other I've seen. I got mine for about 22 bucks while the naga was about 60 when I was shopping. Consider it despite the high expectation of overpriced gaming equipment.
