I bought a braided cable for mine and it's working great.
It is a standard micro USB so it won't be hard to find one. Here is the one i got for Mine and it's working fine.
Also i can use it to charge my phone!
I have recently been getting a "Charger is too slow for device" message on my phone. I have been using the wall charger that came with my phone, but a different micro usb cord. This was never a problem until the end of last week, however now it is very slow and takes forever to charge. Although, it does not give this message right away and will charge normally for that time.
I am using this cord.
This my favorite charger, I like them so much that I have 3 of them and they are the fastest charger i've used so far.
As for cables, I highly recommend these guys. They grip nicely and form a solid secure connection to all of my micro usb charging electronics.
