It's this board but I picked mine up for $30(review clubs yo), you can find similar RGB Boards for around $60 fairly easily on Amazon(example) but they generally have Blue switches, which are loud as hell.

The one I got(the Rosewill) has a coupon on it though that makes it $85, should be EMCSRFRD6 and it came from their ad for this week.

I wish. It's actually the Mechanical Eagle Z-88. I really like it, and it has hotswappable switches. It has outemu blues in it right now but I'm going to buy some Cherry blues later on in the year.

u/ViolentPwnogrphy · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

MechanicalEagle Z-88 RGB. The switches aren't soldered down and you can pull them straight out and switch out the switch types and plug them back in. I got them on sale back when it was 39.99

E-Element Z-88 RGB LED Backlit Waterproof Mechanical Keyboard

Tenkeyless Full Sized

Comes in Black and Blue switch variants and you can actually swap out the switches, no de-soldering needed. Has a number of RGB features though no individual LED control apparently.

It's my Christmas present from my fiancee this year and I'm looking forward to it pretty badly now.

I got this one a couple weeks ago on sale for $55 and it has been absolutely fantastic so far. That one also uses outemu switches (blues in this case). It also has true RGB backlighting for each switch which i honestly didn't expect! Also came with a keycap removal tool and 5 replacement switches. Love it.

u/Jolly_Green_Giant · 2 pointsr/MechanicalKeyboards

The keyboard you linked isn't real RGB (just rainbow single colors LEDs).

For that price, I would say it's not good value.

The E-Element Z88 104 is probably one of the cheapest full RGB mechanical keyboards around.

Canadia Version

Here's a good resource on some entry level mechanical keyboards.

(Posted this as its own topic but it got deleted. So posting it here.)

I've never owned a mechanical keyboard and looking to buy one. My setup is currently just my dell 7559 "Gaming" laptop, where I have a book placed upon the laptop keyboard and my external keyboard on top of the book, yeah it sounds stupid lol. I really don't like the laptop keys when I play video games or typing essays.
Anyways I'm looking to buy one online and ship to Canada.
I'm quite interested in the Logitech G pro (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126488&cm_re=logitech_gpro-_-23-126-488-_-Product)
However I searched about the romger g switches and heard some unfavorably opinions about it. I heard that blue switches or the cherry mx (or clones) are a lot better, i'm leaning forward to this currently (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01I1N6J34/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2IJXZ1FD77INR)
Overall I'm just trying to get into my first mechanical keyboard. I'm just looking over an rgb keyboard with custom profiles that I can do via software or through the keyboard. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the keyboard you linked - but I purchased this keyboard back in December and it has been the greatest keyboard I've ever used. I almost bought another one for use at work!!

You really cannot beat the price of this keyboard, too.

Edit - only after posting my comment here, i notice that this amazon listing does not include the keyboard with the num-pad. Mine has the full number pad. Looks like it isn't available from the link I posted. Strange...

u/HDredneck · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

Cool! Thanks. Been looking to modify some switches to help eliminate fat fingering. Do you recon I could put these into the... (generic MX Clone) "Blue" switches of this keyboard? It has replaceable switches, so, I think I could. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01I1N6J34/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/cocorickoo · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

You are correct. I misread Gaote for Gateron.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01I1N6J34

The RGB lighting is limited but works fine for me, i don't need any pink or violet. In fact, i find red and white less distracting.

There is one other thing that annoys me. When using a color that is not pure R (pure G or pure B) there is some weird chromatic aberration when blinking my eyes. If you move your head away you will get the same feeling, like the 3 colors separate for an instant. Did anyone see that on another keyboard ?

u/deztroy12 · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

I've been using a g15 logitech for the longest time. Its starting to die on me so I thought it was a great idea to switch over to a mechanical keyboard. I will be using this keyboard to game. There are 2 keyboards that have caught my eye and are similar in prices. Aukey: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IRASQA0/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A142BGUZC6UH73 and Mechanical Eagle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I1N6J34/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2U3R73MNHPWPS Since this is my first mechanical keyboard I only plan to spend up to $60 on a keyboard. If anyone could decide on which keyboard I should pick between the two? Or if there are any other mechanical keyboard under $60 I should look at. The main features I'm looking for is volume control and that it lights up since I mainly play in the dark. Thanks for the help :)

u/mrauls · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

This is also $50

This one too

$40

u/Garfield131415 · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

Yeah, but the only one I can find has the gold white finish I really don't like... Any other suggestions?
EDIT: Would this be right for me?
EDIT 2: Little outside my price zone is alright, just not above 70 dollars would be ideal.

u/sachin1118 · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

I'm looking for an RGB mechanical keyboard in the $45-60 range. I know the quality won't be the best, but there are some great keyboards in this range. Here are the specifics.

  1. NO mem-chanical or half-mechanical crap. It needs to be truly mechanical even if it isn't cherry mx or gateron.
  2. It needs to have individual key color programmability, not zones or lines.
  3. Full-sized, no shortened ones or tenkeyless.
  4. Some cool animations, most/all keyboards have this anyways.
  5. Preferably something with more than 7 colors, true RGB would be amazing, but 7 is ok too.
  6. Willing to pay up to 85-100 if it includes cherry mx switches.
  7. Prefer something with software that can program it, but on-board controls are fine too.

The closest I could find was the Mechanical Eagle Z-88. This fulfills all the required criteria, although it only has 7 actual colors (I think). Thanks in advance.

First time replacing switches on a keyboard!

I have this: https://www.amazon.com/Granvela-MechanicalEagle-Mechanical-Keyboard-DIY-Replaceable/dp/B01I1N6J34/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=eagle+88&qid=1557258957&s=gateway&sr=8-9

Was going to replace with the ICE Dark Purple: https://mehkee.com/products/outemu-switches-purple-teal?variant=7269781995548

Am I going to have any issues? From what I'm reading, I won't, but wanted to make sure.

u/adsey666 · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

I was being a bit of an idiot with the price difference, its only $15.00 difference, i am viewing from the UK so they might show different prices for different regions?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Keyboards-Mice-Input-Devices/Arealer-Mechanical-Keyboard-Anti-ghosting-Switches-Programmable-Professional/B01M6UN2HG - at $39:99

I’ve been using this for a year now. Little loud but the rgb options are nice.

u/Aarenas52 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

thats a nice one and ill think about it. you can change the caps then right?

also i did end up finding 2 in my price range that i like more than all i listed:

Mechanical Eagle Z-77

Mechanical Eagle Z-88

though honestly that rose will is really nice may end up picking it up actually.

i can also change the keys? do you really have to solder? i saw that in a youtube video but then i saw another where they just pop out and make the connection via tiny little prongs.

u/Tojr549 · 1 pointr/buildapc

I second that! I am using this one. Very similar but upgraded with pretty lights and cool color features.

I love the mechanical feel but the sound is enough to drive you nuts sometimes

Edit: link didn't work

u/yorkeMC · 1 pointr/gaymers

Yep they cycle. Here you go

u/wzcx · 0 pointsr/BuildAPCSalesMeta

I have to be honest, I actually have a slightly different Z88-labeled model, I just couldn't be bothered to find it at the time I was posting. But it's this: MechanicalEagle Z-88 RGB Backlit 104 Keys Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Blue Switches DIY - Replaceable Switches - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I1N6J34/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_-RgFybN5ZFF8C

I love it. It's on my desk at work right next to my boss who has some giant white usb mechanical that I can't identify; we compete for volume in the office. :) I also have the tenkeyless version but I use the tenkey all the time and had to upgrade.

I also really like the look of that other one, wish I'd seen it earlier!
