It's a load of bullshit and frankly utterly obnoxious. Buy stuff from actual brands that aren't just AliExpress white label knockoff bullshit. The keyboard you linked, I can already find 2 knockoffs that look exactly like it if I search for "60% RGB".

I got this one for $16 with a lightning deal.
Works very well as a nightstand. The charge light isn't bright enough and it's easy to center the phone perfect every time (with my round flat charger it would randomly stop charging and couldn't center it without visual inspection)
It's also grippy.

Saw the picture with it connected to a wire but still secured by the chain and knew that would be for me as I will certainly lose these things otherwise.

I've been using these for the last six months. They've been working fine for me with fast charging. The metal clip attaches to the cable on your existing microusb cord so you don't lose the adapter.
