I had some 18ga wire laying around. No soldering needed. Bought the clear box at the dollar store.

I've been talking about getting one for 6 months now, so my girlfriend got this for my birthday. I live in South Florida, so my house is typically 76-78F in the summer. Wood humidors are beautiful and work well for holding humidity, but 76-78F is not exactly the ideal temp for long-term storage of cigars.

The little blue light inside is pitiful, so I added some 5050 LEDs. I also ordered a custom drawer set from wineadors.com to replace the wine racks. It has 4 drawers, 2 shelves, all with black limba fronts. For humidity, I'm using boveda packs as I can get them for wholesale price. The monitor on the wall shows temp/humidity both in my house and the humidor, along with recording min/max. I'll post links below for everything.

First buy a ZVS induction heater board then get a 12v 5amp power supply you need one with the green and black plug to wire into the device. Then you will need a momentary switch rated to 5 amps so that you won’t need a mosfet trigger. I used the /u/beasthoss induction heater build guide as my starting point. One thing I noticed was the color coding of the wires on the switch harness are different from those in the beasthoss guide. Use the wiring diagram that comes with your switch and you should be good to go! Let me know if you have any more questions. Have to go back to work.

for batteries you'll need 18650's - rechargeable. and a housing for it or a battery pack etc, you can got to batteries + and they can make it for you on the spot.

My IH is for car use only so I just used a lighter type cord., its already at 12v DC so i didn't need to convert it.

I’ve no issues a with heat from the strip lights. If the plant is resting up against them they get a little crispy but not and real bad damage so far. Hope this helps!
