If you took the time to read my posts, before getting riled up into a frothy rage, you would realise that I never said Amazon didn't have the right to remove orders for breach of contract, which is clearly what these "scalpers" are doing. Good on them for following through with the agreement they make with everyone who wants to sell something on their site.

All I said was that you are foolish if you think it's to combat scalping. These sellers can legally sell the items for whatever they want, on Amazon no less, so long as they meet all the requirements set forth, which you so painstakingly pointed out: They can't sell anything amazon deems to be a "pre-order" and they must follow through with shipping the item out within 2 days of order confirmation. Because most "scalpers" failed to realise this, they had their orders cancelled. But not because they were trying to "scalp" an item, that has nothing to do with it and Amazon probably couldn't give two shits.

While you're busy saving the world, one foolish email to amazon at a time though, you might as well take care of these heinous scalpers!

It wouldn't hurt to call them (saves you the trip and gas if they don't have it). Though, I'd say your best bet right now is through amazon.

You could also try Toys R Us and Wal-Mart as well. My boyfriend got it for me through the Toys R Us he worked at. Good luck! I hope you find one!

Not a DS, a 3DS. It is different and don't have people try to fool you. There is a system out there called the DS and even DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL. What you want is a 3DS or a 3DS XL, you can actually get a special edition 3DS with Animal Crossing New Leaf already downloaded on the system.

Ahh you need to get the 3DS. I bought mine with my birthday money and so far played Luigi's mansion, Professor Layton:The Miracle Mask, Harvest Moon (whatever the 3DS one is..I can't remember the name right now), and I just bought Animal Crossing. I'm also super excited for Pokemon X/Y and the new Zelda coming out. You should get the Animal Crossing 3DS O.O. I'd be totally jelly!

Goshdurnit, we need a main post for people's funds if it's not already done! I love seeing what people are saving up for.

• (2): Aside from the fact that the LE 3DS is ridiculously cute, Animal Crossing and I have a long history together and it's gotten me through some tough times. And like a never ending mobius strip, I've hit on some hard personal problems again. I hate getting sappy on the internet, but I dun goofed and now I've hit rock bottom.
