No worries, I'm glad I could help a little. Also, I don't think it's a bad idea to upgrade the fork on the Guardian frame. About 4-5 years ago, I got a 1st generation Airborne Goblin, which is the same frame used on the Guardian and I think it's a nice, strong frame, is reasonably light, and has good geometry. However, I think $505 is a bit much to invest in that frame. If it were me, I'd get a lesser fork like this: RockShox Recon Silver RL. It's still totally good - it's an air fork, it has a damper (what keeps it from being a pogo stick), and it will fit your bike. It's not as light as a Reba but I think you'll get 90% of the performance. Put that on your bike, ride it until you truly outgrow the bike, while stashing money for your next mountain bike.
