Here’s a new one for $189 on Amazon. At my local Hobbytown, I paid $200. The $230 kit comes with a battery and DC charger.

A NiMh battery should be under $20. A LiPo should be under $40.

For what it’s worth, I offered my 2wd Slash to my neighbor for $100 (he hasn’t taken me up on it yet). And when I get to the point where I really want to sell it, I’d put it on Craigslist for $150 and take $125.
