So after about a year into this great hobby I've accumulated pieces of gear into what it is today. Not exactly everything I want yet, and for sure I'm going to be replacing around 30% of things in a few months (hopefully!). Still pretty noobish in terms of skill but I'm working on it! Onto the kit list!

• ICS CXP-08 Sportline (currently stock at the moment) with an ICS 3 point sling, replica EOTech 518 sight, generic vertical grip, PEQ Battery box (came with the gun) with a 7.4 lipo, and a replica Surefire M600c flashlight and pressure switch. Okay, I'm home now. I actually saw one of the original flight suits from the show at Dragon*Con last year. They are amazing, and I have absolutely no idea how they are made. They are shiny, but not in a tacky way. Insane. I'd recommend going with just Helo tags with their casual clothes. These pants. Maybe this belt with the clasp painted that bronze/gold sort of color theirs are. I think they just wear black boots. I'm not sure that they are anything special. I don't know what your budget is or what your sewing skills are. If you get the jacket you will have to do some modifications to make it look accurate like Camrade mentioned. If you don't get a jacket, people will still recognize your costume and know who you are supposed to be. I didn't wear a jacket with mine and I was still easily recognized, so I imagine your costume would be the same.

I'm actually tossing around an idea of a video on this. Right now it looks something like this

Something like this would work?

The DeadPool belt buckle was hand made with:

1 CD (for Tracing the circles in the foam board)

Foam Board (3 Layers)Exacto Knife

Sandpaper

Modgpodge Sealer + Paintbrush

Black spray paint

Cardboard

Acrylic paints

--Use the CD as a trace for the Foam Board. cut out three circle layers, and also cut
out the symbol if you want to keep a 3-D look.

--Use any kind of glue to put together the pieces, and then apply sandpaper to the edges of the buckle to round them out. Also use sandpaper on small areas for fine touches.

--Begin applying the Modgepodge Sealer with the paint brush.

--After drying spray paint the whole buckle. If you didn't add any sealer the buckle will become soggy and deform.

--After drying the paint, apply your acrylic colours and you're done.

--Add more sealer for extra protection if you'd like.

--I also glued the C-D I used for tracing to the back for added support the prevent it from bending at the edges, and added velcro to it and the belt. It is very sturdy.

-The Suit - I made sure to use the custom sizing because I'm 6'6, so I think it's worth the couple minutes to size yourself.

-The Gun - I already had a cheap airsoft pistol I picked up at a surplus store. I spray painted it and painted the DeadPool logo on it's side just because.

I'm putting together a Deadpool cosplay right now, this is what I planned on using:
Belt,
Magazine Pouch.
There's also this, but it's a bit pricey.

I use this. It's cheap, but super durable and adjusts for a huge range of waist sizes.
