Probably a plastic soft tip set - http://www.amazon.com/Viper-Bull-Blaster-Soft-Dartboard/dp/B00022P0UQ - otherwise having it inside seems like an awful idea, plus the whole, having the point go through his mouth
I understand that. I will say, if you get a good set of soft tip darts, say 20 grams, you will be able to put conversion steel points on them and use the same darts for both styles. So practicing one is basically practicing the other. They aren't that different.
And if you are referencing the size of the targets, there are plenty of soft tip boards likes this or this that actually have small targets, not the typical larger targets you find on a bar board.
