I have the same ones and I agree, I bought them because they were really highly rated and cheaper than a lot of muffs and plugs, I have been thinking about these because my friend swears by them but 400 dollars seems hard to justify when I still take a lot of animals each year with the Howard Leights.
I suddenly feel a lot less guilty about my $400 earplugs
i have a set of the nitroears ,but they are well outside what you are looking at.
i would reccomend buying both of these off amazon and seeing how they fit.

if you get ahold of the guy at nitro ear, he can make you a custom insert that holds these above items, but is molded to your ear. kinda hybrid situation - http://www.nitroear.com/
the 3m's are terrible, the ghost ear are terrible. i tried both and due to how my ears are, they didnt fit right.
