You should probably try a variety and see what works best. None of the options suggested are very expensive, after all.
For example, this is 0.5mm thick, but it's also very compressible material. It's very soft, and deforms easily.
I've heard of people having good results with thermal pads like this. Maybe something to try as a less messy but similar functioning alternative. Also easier to get consistent even coverage id imagine. Personally I've never had any issues with heat transfer to my glass so never really bothered. But maybe I could get better results if I did. Wouldn't be able to clean the glass in the sink as easily though as I don't think these are meant to be removed and reapplied repeatedly.
I use heat sink pad between my mirror and the aluminum bed. It’s grippy and the mirror doesn’t move at all, but I can easily lift it off.
Here’s some like I’m using. Just make sure you order enough.

You’re fine.
Just order a silicone GPU pad, and put it under a glass bed.

Thermal Silicone pad The sheet is larger than you need, cut a piece to fit your bed and place it between the bed and the glass. I don't use clips to hold my glass down, it "sticks" pretty well to just the silicone
120mmX120mm Glass bed I purchased one similar that had cut corners so I could easily access my bed leveling screws but its up to you.
Glass bed Installation Dont worry about when he cuts his own glass. This guy makes a bunch of mod videos for the MPSM and he's through about his instructions and tips.
Put a silicone sheet between the bed and the glass it will hold the glass in place and will conduct heat to the glass more effectively and evenly.
I've had mine for a couple years now and it truly is a great little machine. But after awhile here are some of the upgrades/maintenance I've had to do to keep it up and running:

I actually put a silicone thermal pad in between the heated bed and the glass plate. This seems to minimize warping of the heated bed influencing the flatness of the glass plate, and it also allows the glass plate to heat a little faster. If you don't want that, I'd just recommend putting the glass directly onto the heated bed.
The silicone pad was the recommended way to go when I was looking at a glass bed. I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/go/product/B01N9HGKR1
It definitely helps the glass stay put, but I've had no trouble with it sticking. The glass just pops off if I pull up on it. I don't think I've tried removing it from the aluminum bed though.
I can't say it it really helps with heat transfer, but I don't think it hurts, and the glass stays put.

That's my favorite change yet.
Here's the one I picked up... FBApayipa 400mm x 210mm x 0.5mm Silicone Thermal Pad for CPU GPU Heatsink https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9HGKR1/.
There seems to be enough material for several dozen uses...
Dont clamp the glass to the heater. Use silicone thermal transfer pad between the glass and heater - this allows the glass to stay flat even if the bed flexes.
And absolutely always level the bed with the bed AND the hot end at operating temperature.
Thermal material i use - enough for 2 beds. Cut into approx 1" squares and lay out in a checkerboard. FBApayipa 400mm x 210mm x 0.5mm Silicone Thermal Pad for CPU GPU Heatsink https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9HGKR1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_nOXi3ZFjL4bkk

Seems really thin, may not bridge the gap based on how mine is warped, still good?
I don't have a Robo, but my glass has always been held in place with a thin silicone thermal pad. You stick it on the aluminum part in squares and then rest the glass on top of that and once it heats up it won't move. No need for clips

Or, you could just tape it down in the corners with blue tape, I've done it that way too.
