(Part 2) Best mirrors & parts according to redditors

As far as chrome delete goes, here are some links you can use if you want. smoked markers, chrome trim blackout, lug chrome delete, black or carbon handles, this site has stickers for the useless buttons, steering wheel, dash, shifter. I went down a rabbit hole.

But, what if, my mirrors do stick out 18 inches? When in non-tow mode... And, they happen to stick out 21-22 inches when extended in towing mode. These are my mirror dimensions.

If this looks like the correct glass, buy it and glue it in until you can find a good used mirror. This will save you a few bucks.

I ordered them off of amazon (which I’ll put the link below) and I honestly love them! They stayed where they were supposed to when off-roading as well as when we were driving 75mph on the way home. I do have to adjust them every once in awhile but not too often!

The touch sensor will register phantom touches when its really cold like single digits (Fahrenheit) it also seems to do it if it goes from cold to hot within the span of a min. But its not a guaranteed thing, sometimes your fine going out others you'll randomly hear a beep or the sound of google asisstant activating .the defining factor is duration its exposed I think.

one more to watch out for is Rain, the malfunction seems to be more consistent when its raining I had a windbreaker with a thin hood and it would barely be usable if the hood was drenched so have a umbrella ready.

Or just use a heavy duty clear zip lock bag and zip tie it or tape like the other guy said. Pull the back around the "neck" of the mirror and put the tape on tight around the skinny part. That should hold it tight without putting tape on the car itself.

Why don't you take a look at this image so you can learn where the blind spot is on a car since you apparently have no fucking clue. Notice how in order to be in the blind spot you need to actually be parallel with the car, in the lane over, not DIRECTLY BEHIND THE MIRROR, in the same lane as the car?

Nope! It came with instructions in the box took less than 5 minutes to replace. This is the one I bought.

Bought some “carbon fiber” mirror caps for my 7.5 about a year ago. Took a little elbow grease and a few YouTube videos to get on but once they were on they look fantastic!

The only gripe I had with this one in particular was that the tabs on the inside which secure it to the mirror assembly are a lot thinner than the OEM ones so they didn’t snap on as easily
