They are a fitting with a 1 way ball valve, they allow a grease gun to clip on and pump grease through them into where ever that needs grease.
I was looking for a bigger tank for my XT350. OEM tank holds 12L, aftermarket holds 15L and would have been around $150 or so. My friend and mechanic said that with a larger tank, it changes the weight distribution and you have to think about sloshing and moving the weight around. With that information I decided to stick with a $10 5L jerry can strapped to the back. Eventually want to get a poor man's Rotopax which has a proper mount and is more streamlined.
Food for thought.

At first glance, this crosses to a very generic and plentiful part.
It should be fine. To replace the fuel filler neck, get a replacement. Like so:
https://www.amazon.ca/SCITOO-F47Z9034P-Filler-1990-1997-1994-1997/dp/B07JLYT2KS?SubscriptionId=AKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q&tag=duc12-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07JLYT2KS
Then, you just undo the 3 screws in the fuel filler door to release the top of the filler neck, unplug the rear disconnect for the taillights, undo the 6 bed bolts, and remove the bed. Then replacing the filler neck is easy.
Keep in mind I'm just surmising. Also, I don't know your year and model.

I've done it before. It's a one-person job if you just lift one side of the bed, if you actually want to fully pull off the bed, it'll take 2 people.
Note that if you actually pull off the bed, that's an excellent time to rustproof the rear frame, replace the rear shocks, change your rear diff fluid, etc etc.
if there the plastic one they break really easy when you try to remove
them its common place. most mechanics aren't going to stop and try and repair them they just stick the plug back on the injector and call it good.
You can buy replacement ones though

I was searching craigslist and ebay and yard sales for a rolling 15-20gal fuel caddy but most were gravity fed and my dock isn't always sitting with the right tide for that to work for me. Finally gave up on a $140-300 caddy and picked up 15.5 gal blue poly chemical jugs for free from a local guy. I paid $17 for a 12v fuel transfer pump and then 10-20' of 3/4" fuel line from Napa/Advance Auto Parts etc. I made my money back after my first fill up at Wawa/Thorntons with Eth-Free gas with how expensive my fuel dock in Tampa is. When you're saving $1 per gallon and doing 30-60 gallons a week it really adds up. You can bear hug and carry the jugs when you fill them with 12-14gal each and carry them from truck down to the dock.
Pump that fits into the fill-hole of the jug:

Depending on how handy you are, a heat source (lighter/torch) and compressed air might unclog that one. Maybe a wire brush if it there is a lot. I also used something like this, https://www.amazon.com/Carburetors-Cleaner-Cleaning-Needles-Chainsaw/dp/B07D8LZ2PG/ but it was a lot older. Probably not recommended, but if it's not working now, what's the worst you can do?
I ordered the simple kit.

Besides the different sender/pump and different dimensions to clear emissions components?

well, the usual culprit to the rough idle is the idle air control solenoid/valve, which is this weird wax spring job in the vg's, and the 2.4's use something like so
those can be taken apart and cleaned, in theory, the wax/spring jobs need rebuilt.
a compression test can be done with an autozone kit, $20 rental you get back when you turn the kit back in. might be valves, might not. dunno if oreillys has rent-a-tools like that.
beyond those, slightly off timing can cause roughness, bad plugs, wires, distributor stuff.
inspect the plugs for fouling. i know a guy who's first cylinder had the at least some of the rings stick closed in the grooves, runs a little rough if the plug fouls, but once it gets cleaned up its right as rain again, and he can't be bothered to get someone to properly redo it right now.
get the fitting size of your inlet and find an adapter to a barb fitting. something like this

6 Piece flow meter adaptor set.

I couldn't find anyone. I ended up just buying rebuilt ones on ebay for cheaper than i could send mine off.
If you dont care about flow testing and just want to clean yours you can buy a rebuild kit and this

Do you happen to know the dimensions, and how it tightens? I assume that I can adjust back and forth the tabs on the side?

Notice how the sock for the pickup sits below the actual pump? It doesn't have to run out of fuel for the pump to be exposed to air (in this particular case). Also in what vehicle is the pump after the filter? Genuinely curious.
So that's the black box on the side of the throttle body? like here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071L9KH14
or there's one that looks like this https://i.imgur.com/7axxghG.jpg on the firewall in the engine bay on the drivers side behind the fuse box
I found this kit on Amazon $4 cheaper than Z1 enterprises had theirs.

A little hot water soak will do wonders. Getting it back off of that barb may not be easy though. Or, just order the 1/2 to 5/16 barb.

Is there some reason it cannot be patched? JB weld baby. They even make a special gas tank repair kit. How big is this hole? Is it rusted out or something? How about an after market plastic tank? It might be a little smaller but I would think that it would be a lot cheaper.

JB Weld Gas Tank Kit is $12

tank is only $150 on Amazon

That will be $500 consultation fee for saving you more than $1,000 it is a great deal.
I think my intake was about $220. It was simple to install. Unbolt the factory air intake and bolt the aftermarket one on. All it took was a basic socket set.
For the catch can some of the air is recirculated into the engine intake. There is some amount of oil in that recirculated air. You want that air to be as clean as possible. The catch can is an attempt to capture that oil so it doesn't build up and cause issues over time.
Edit to add: I ordered my catch can on Amazon. I'll try to find the link.
