I used a Schumacher Storm 700 once during a power outage to run my sump pump until I could get a generator up and running. I don't own it anymore but it was a nice device and would certainly be capable of handling the needs you mentioned. It was only $299 at Lowes at the time (no longer available) so you may be able to keep your eye out for a better price on it.

Looks like a 12v power outlet

It isn't small. But it's not like I'm trying to carry it in my pocket.

You can buy a battery jumper from Amazon for $40-70.

It's basically a big USB power block with alligator clips. It also doubles as a big phone/tablet charger when you're not using it to jump cars

Here's one I've been happily using often for about 4 months (I have an electrical issue with my car and need to jump it repeatedly per week):

nice work! I have been using my DC out port on this to charge my OMNI in times of need. I love the versatility of this thing!

Could something like this work? Samlex-SEC-1223BBM. I would plug this into wall and power the Zeus and Pi (with buck converter) from the 12V DC output. I would connect the solar system's battery to the 'backup battery' terminals. I would then place a timer between wall and Samlex device to switch off grid power during the day so the Samlex would draw from solar system's battery, then switch back to grid power at night.

I own this one. I jumped my vette when the battery was dead (couldn't even open door, had to pop door open from trunk), you just have to hook it up and let it charge the battery a while before trying to start.
