They're from a Dutch brand called Lekker

You can get identical looking ones from Brooks but they're stupid expensive and the ones I've had have been great for the year I've had them.

Components:

  • 2 x 300mm shower grab rail
  • 1 x handlebar tape

    Edit to add explanation:

I have very thick door frames in my house and even though I can do a leg-assist pullup hanging by my fingertips from the frame, my form was terrible and I only just got the top of my head level with my hands.

I didn't like the looks of any of the Iron Gym type bars because I didn't want to be too low. Plus the doorway is in a corner.

In the absence of a toolshed for cutting pipe, I decided to get something that was specifically for hanging large weights (an elderly person slipping in the bath) and screw it directly into the door frame.

I used bicycle handlebar tape to wrap the smooth stainless steel to provide some grip.

Pedals and handle grips would be the two things I would recommend that make it feel and perform better. They're very easy to upgrade.

I have a post with pictures of my Airdyne. In the comments I gave some tips and answer some questions about what I did. https://www.reddit.com/r/homegym/comments/783qa4/pimp_my_airdyne_rhomegym_edition/

Mine came with a very padded premium feeling OEM seat. I don't know how the thinner type that's on yours feels for comparison, so I couldn't recommend a seat upgrade.

The chain upgrade and chain guard removal was purely cosmetic.

I believe this used to be the norm back in the day. Unfortunately, it appears to be frowned upon now, especially after receving so many down votes on this post...

These caught my eye. I want to switch to drop bars so I can tuck while riding, I don't want to be so upright. I'll have to switch brake lever setups too right? Can anyone guide me in the right direction. I'm not sure what will fit or what sizes I need.

I had this Lizardskin tape for a while and generally liked it, but when it was worn I swapped it out for something my LBS carried and actually the difference wasn't all that noticeable. I can't say what brand it was though as I sold the bike since then, but the Lizardskin was nice, very grippy in rain.

Brooks microfibre bar tape.

It's very nice. Padded underneath, so it's not like bare leather would be.

I used to use cotton (cloth) bar tape like this: https://www.amazon.com/Newbaums-26300-Cloth-Bar-Tape/dp/B0127AQ07W

You may find the lack of padding and less-slick feel to your liking.

Sure would but also you can just use bike handlebar tape ( million styles of course just linking one) https://www.amazon.com/KINGOU-Camouflage-Road-Handlebar-Wraps/dp/B011JZ5AWC/ref=zg_bs_6389388011_18?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=XQVZ9X4E9W2MZFK8FMSV

I can confirm that this part number is red, very similar to your old tape.

I found some on Amazon, but I can also vouch for the Cinelli tape.

Kind of looks a little like this one.
