Bacon is not a requirement its just nice to have.

This is a situation where you have to do what you have to do to get by. Since your grandparents are helping you out I would lean towards being respectful of their home & beliefs. However I would look at maintaining your own independence as much as you can. Can you afford a small grill. Like a >$100 Coleman camping grill. You could buy a few dishes and cook outside.

My personal opinion is that if you respect their beliefs then it would be nice if they granted you some independence in their home (as long as you cooked them outside/elsewhere: eating meat & cheese together, pork, etc.). However if they expect you to conform to their beliefs and that is going to interfere with your weight loss then fuck religion and find somewhere else to live as soon as you can.

You're welcome!
A cookout is when you get a grill, powered by either charcoal or propane gas. You cook food outdoors and socialize with friends and/or family. It is sometimes associated with camping. People have cookouts at certain holidays too. Memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day. They are also used to celebrate birthdays too.
IMHO, Charcoal always tastes better.
This is a grill.

Typically, people make hamburgers and hotdogs, and other things!
