A great holiday gift for them would be candles to put in every window. My parents had something like these, very retro!

LPT: Candle warmers provide flame-free scent and prevent singed kitty parts. Also useful for leg wax if you're so inclined.

I have used a candle warmer to do something similar to this in the past.

A nice candle with a candle warmer. Our school wouldnt let us light the candle, but they are these cool trays that warm them to release the good scent. Like this one

Nice. I like it. Maybe use something like these?

Oh no! I'm sorry you're so sick and overwhelmed. <3 Here are some pictures of cute baby animals that will hopefully make you smile.

I have this candle warmer and dish on my wishlist. I found out about them when I came home for winter break, because my mom got one for the living room. It's amazingly useful, because you can use it to both melt a jar candle as well as wax melts.

It's awesome because you can use any kind of wax melt or candle that you have, so whatever scent relaxes you can be used! Or if you need something energizing, you can quickly switch out to another scent. I'm using a tea tree mint wax melt right now while I'm home, which smells absolutely amazing.

When I'm stressed and want to relax, I generally try to get myself away from the computer and towards a book instead. I light a candle, lay down in bed, and just proceed to read. Sometimes I'll take a bath instead, and use some nice bath salts or a bath bomb that I've saved just for occasions when I'm stressed.

I hope that the rest of your week is better than it's been going! <3

A candle warmer is great for the office! Safe, flameless and smokeless, but you still get the fragrance of the candle. And the candle will last you forever since you're not burning the wax away! This is just a basic one, but they have a bunch of other styles. I have one of these myself and I just love it. I practically leave it on all the time.

(also I may come back to this and add more ideas. I'm unemployed and one of my job requirements is to have a desk to call home so I have a lot of ideas. Hey, after working retail, I can't call anything mine!)

Why not just get the candle warmer? You can get it for under $6 on Amazon.

It sure looks like one, they don't get hot enough to melt all the candle wax but will still make your home smell good.

Furnishing for your apartment, there are TONS of different designs though if you don't like this one and I love mine so much! They are both decorative and useful. <3

Less than a dollar, this necklace is awesome sauce!

Thank you for the contest :-D

$8.03 on Amazon!

Though I don't have any info on the warmers you already have, sorry.

For a fraction of that price you can go with this.

I use that for steeping. Just place a coffee mug with hot water on it, place in your bottles (I've used both plastic and glass w/o any problems), then go to sleep and wake up with steeped juice.

edit: typo.

Omg I love those little cutie pies!

My parents got me an American Girl Doll when I was nine years old. I loved dressing it up in different outfits, but back then the price of a dress was more than a dress for me! I didn't want to ask my parents to spend money on that. One day my mother took me to the craft store, and I asked to buy fabric. We got home and she showed me how to sew. So since then, I love making things! Right now it's just pet beds, mainly because I don't dress up my doll anymore lol, but I plan to make clothes for my future little human(s).

Thanks for the contest!

Buy an air purifier with a charcoal filter and blow the hit through a packed paper towel length sploof in there. Have scented oil in a [warmer] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003IT5K0U/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1417008600&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40) going or a candle and put a glade plug-in by the door. Remember to towel the door as usual.

My room smells like it belongs to a hot chick, but not trees at least.

It's a three way tie between both of these panda hats and this amazing Scentsy candle warmer.

Instead of traditional incense, you can use an electric wax melter and Essential Oils. Basically, instead of putting wax in the top section to melt down, you put a small amount of water in it, then drip essential oils, or fragrance oils, into the water. Of course, you could always just get different wax tarts with the herbal scents you want instead, as well.

Or, you can use a steam diffuser like this one to heat up the essential oils. It creates steam, so you can have the visual cue of a "smoke" without breaking the rules.

Actually, if you look at this listing for the same product you will see that the heater never comes into contact with melted wax since the heater is only supposed to be used with jarred candles.

Also, these heaters rarely melt the wax of the candle, they just warm it up so that the wax gives up some of its scented oil. It would take an hour or more for it to warm up a glass of water to the point it would be comfortable to shave with.

Honestly the easiest thing to do would be to put a mug of distilled water in a large coffee mug and just microwave it. It should stay plenty hot enough for your entire shave and you don't risk directly mixing water with questionable electrical appliances.

Yup, candle warmers are awesome. You can definitely find some classy ones too.
