So I've seen these series of dresses get referenced on FFA a lot lately. I love them conceptually, but my style doesn't really line up with florals or too much boho. I'm really enamored with these dresses, though, and feel like that breezy aesthetic is something I could work with in the summer. (Usually being much more of a minimalistic, I-like-my-geometrics-and-hard-lines sort of gal.)

Has anyone come across a dress that they'd consider similar, albeit less high-femme?

I guess it depends. I’d probably go in jeans and a really nice top with some cute flats. But since baby showers are frilly I guess a dress. This is so cute dress with a denim jacket. This is nice but material may be cheap. this both the Amazon dresses would get to you in time. Not sure about the jcrew.

This dress on Amazon is popular for maternity shoots and baby showers. It comes in a bunch of patterns, seems to flatter everyone who wears one, and is incredibly comfortable (I got one to wear to a wedding recently). Nice and flowy, no open belly. It’s also very affordable.

What about something like this? I don't know what color you need but that has the vintage look and you could give each bridesmaid a pin to give it that old time feel and/or they could wear small hats! May also be able to put petticoats underneath to give more fullness.

I bought this dress and LOVE it! I'm around 44-34-44 and bought a large and it fit perfectly. I buy a lot of clothes on Amazon and end up returning about half, but what I do keep is usually awesome!

my cousin, even though she is younger than me, has been like a mother to me these past couple years. Since we've moved in together she has kept me on the straight and narrow and taken good care of me and has made sure I keep focus on school and makes sure I never go a day without a meal.

I bought this dress Reception Dress to wear. With a crinoline to keep it poofy, it was 42$.

I just bought this from Amazon, and its surprisingly well made! I'm pretty short, so its a reasonable length on me, the fabric is thick and the lace feels like it will hold up. I get so many compliments, and it's so soft it feels like I'm wearing a nightgown. Only downside is no pockets.

Here's one from Amazon. I've purchased multiple items from this seller before, and they've always been really good. I would definitely go with this one over the similar Amazon dresses that someone else posted from much less reputable sellers.

my little black dress I've only worn this one for a few hours, so Haven't washed it yet, also I got it in black so I'd have something for funerals & stuff, but it comes in other colors



the only high neck thing I own the flowers camouflage the boobs, so they don't look 3x their normal size. Since it was half the price of other dresses I machine washed it inside out on cold and machine dried it I had great results :)



my favorite so far I love the flowers & shape. If you'll notice, unlike most dresses the "boob slots" are much larger & let the girls fit in without it looking weird.

I bought this FFA favourite maxi from Amazon in leopard, though the light green floral is gorgeous.

It's fantastic! The chest area can stand to be just a little bigger but that can be fixed with a different bra. It's very lightweight and comfortable. I'm 5'7 and it hits just above the top of my feet.
