There was an episode of DLM in St Louis a few months back where Bert brought cheeseburgers for the audience and Doug was not amused. They argued on stage and the whole episode has a weird air about it. You have to buy the episode from Amazon or iTunes, but it's a good one.

Its funny if you think of the protagonist as Jessie Spano.

Also, this is a good way to make it a comedy. Adam Carolla and Dana Gould (as a fowl mouthed Huell Howser) comment over the movie.
