How about a USS Defiant Christmas tree ornament? Or the USS Rio Grande Runabout? Both of those need to have a power source for the lights and sounds but hold up without power as they are detailed and purdy lookin.

I have the Galileo Shuttle from 92, where Spock gives you a holiday greeting, but it doesn't seem to work with LED lights. Did the Defiant have the same issue, and how did you fix it?
I got one of these Charlie Brown Christmas trees and switched out the red ornament with a black one with a skull on it. Makes a good table centerpiece.

Do you have any way of measuring light levels? You can get one on Amazon for <$20. I got this one. It's probably best to check the light levels before buying more lights.
Close-up pictures of the sad orchids would help immensely. Also, in Florida, humidifying is probably overkill. Make sure your orchids aren't sopping wet for too long.

Every single coin is the exact same very vibrant yellow color and are the exact same size. I suspect that the yellow color is from brass. The Chinese cash coins were very varied in size and materials and overall had a lot of variance in appearance. Here are a couple of my Qing Dynasty coins for example. Coins like these are manufactured in bulk today for rituals and such and can be found online very cheap. Here is an Amazon listing for a couple hundred cash coins that are all recently manufactured and, at least from a coin collecting standpoint, are valueless. Notice how the Amazon coins are all uniform in size and color.

Yeah I'm missing that one and 1991 Enterprise. I started in 1996, and went back to get the older ones on eBay a few years later. But I've never been a big TOS fan, so I didn't pick up those two. I'll have to keep an eye out for them after Christmas. When I got the ones I did it was summer, and they were cheaper.

Hrm, yea, that amazon link only says 10000lm total which means it's probably a low end bulb in there...but you should still be getting over 10,000lux at a foot. Are you sure the meter is 10 inches? Measure from the light sensor on the meter to the bulb itself, I suspect it's further than 10 inches, looks more like a foot an a half in those pics.
Either way, even plugging in 2 feet and 10,000lm I get 10,000lux, would need to be like 4-5 feet away to get the sub-5,000lux reading you got. Anyways, if you want a more accurate estimate, you would actually measure from the point that the where the angled sides of the fixture converge above it to the top of the pots of the plants (use a tape measure). The measure the angle between the sides of that fixture. Stuck into the calculator above those numbers should be pretty accurate, but I don't see it being under 10,000lux.
And with that said, I think either you're using the meter wrong (rotate it to get the highest reading, the highest number is the only valid number) or the meter is crap/garbage. I got a digital one on amazon that seems to work pretty well.
