If the powdered Vega didn't work for you, you may want to try their pre-mixed shake:

There are several different brands of electrolyte mixes that you can bring and mix in with your hydration pack. Liquid IV is a pretty popular brand that's relatively cheaper for how many you get (you can find it at Costco too). I personally like Biosteel.

I'm in the same boat. I really like this powdered electrolyte mix, compared to sugary stuff like Gatorade. I also try to avoid alcohol. Look into dysautonomia.

Water water is actually absorbed faster by your body, it wont help decrease it, but if you're taking a sip every 5-10 minutes you should be fine. 1 bottle/hour maybe even 1.5/hr if its really hot.

Also try a hydration powder, GU/Nuun/Gatorade something that adds electrolytes and potassium. If helps your body absorb the water better and make it more efficient.

I usually do one bottle with a tablet and one bottle of pure water. The gatorade one comes in individual packets if you go on long enough ride to refill your water. Take turns sipping from both. They usually leave a residue in the bottle so you should always use the same bottle with the powder.

I put a couple scoops of pure maltodextrin along with a scoop of lemonade or Gatoraid (for flavor) into my water bottle. Basically HEED but without the high price. Last ride I used a Nuun tablet for flavor and electrolytes along with two scoops (maybe 4 rounded tablespoons?) of maltodextrin powder and avoided the pure sugar entirely. Two water bottles of that mix was all I needed for a 2.5 hour ride in the rain.

I would just keep something like this on hand: https://www.amazon.com/Ultima-Hydrating-Electrolyte-Powder-Stickpacks/dp/B01MT7W6IL

If you start to feel foggy, or fatigued, dump a stick in 16oz of water and sip it. Don't drink it quickly.

You can use BCAA's (Branch Chain Amino Acids), I've used Purbolics brand, and they're a great way to get BCAA's but have some sweet flavor in your water.

Not sure why you got downvoted for this.

Here are two good options for you. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009KML6RK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Both are caffeine and vitamin blends in the form of a fruity powder. Similar nutrition and caffeine to Spark.

I am not a doctor, so I couldn't tell you what the medical term for it is. It's called a banana bag or "rally pack", though I've never heard the latter term, and after googling, I didn't see another name for it.

This site lists what's in it, and it appears you can buy an oral bag version from Amazon.

Tbh though, I'd just mix 8 oz of Pedialyte/Gatorade with 8 oz water and use that to down a B-complex vitamin and call it a night.

You should get your vitamins too. I like these: https://www.gnc.com/multivitamins/201622.html?cgid=multivitamins#start=1

Also feel free to add flavor packets to make it nice: https://www.amazon.com/Electrolyte-Powder-Refreshing-Electrolytes-Hydration/dp/B075QNR8XK?th=1

Also add all your packets into this site: https://nutritiondata.self.com/ this will show you want minerals and vitamins you will miss.

There is also a high quality Vitiman soup you can buy if you don't like pills: https://www.gardenoflife.com/content/product/vitamin-code-liquid-multivitamin/

I take amino acid pills, which are supposed to help with soreness, but i'm not sure they do anything. I also take biosteel (a pre-workout drink) before i run since i run early in the mornings. If you are running on a treadmill for a really long time, Nuun electrolyte tabs can be helfpul.

Hey there!

I am looking to start Keto to try and shed a little of the weight I have gained from being in a relationship and I have 4 questions about it.

First- are protein shakes acceptable on Keto if they have few carbs? Without looking, I believe the protein shake I drink daily is 2 carbs and I do it with a cup of unsweetened almond milk.

Second- I believe I read diet sodas are acceptable on Keto but I wanted to make sure. Diet Dr.Pepper is my vice and I drink 1 bottle a day of it.

Third- I’m sure your run of the mill energy drinks are off the table, but I do drink something call GFuel as a pre work out and I would love too know if that is something I need to stop. Here is the Amazon link. the nutrition info is the second picture.

Lastly- with starting this new diet, I am looking to do the 8/16 fasting approach where you only consume calories 8 hours of the day. I have never done something like this before and I would love some feedback on whether or not people have had some levels of success with it and the times that people usually eat. I was think doing 10 am-6 pm because that would give me enough time to get home from work and warm up one of my meal preps but I do sleep 9 pm - 5 am every night and I am worried that 3 hours is too short of a time between my last meal and sleep.

I’m new to the community but you guys seem so warm and welcoming and I am excited to take my health to the next level!

Start adding pink Himalayan sea salt to almost everything. Sounds weird, but keeps the headaches away. Also, look at this: New Vega Sport Hydrator Lemon Lime (50 Servings, 4.9 oz Tub) - Electrolyte Powder, Gluten Free, Non Dairy, Vegan, Sugar Free, Keto Friendly, Non GMO https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJ43JVJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZLmCCbK041GVX

This stuff saved my head from headaches early in Keto. Just one serving a day will do it.
