Helps if you have a garage and underground parking at your destination. But at some point you'll likely be parked outside for a few hours so you'll need a good battery. You don't always need the block heater but it helps and prevents some wear and tear from cold starts.

Garages here aren't usually heated, but if it's insulated the heat from the engine can keep it about 0 most of the time (depending on temperature and if it's attached or not).

These grill covers used to be more common, don't see them as often anymore.

I'd suggest getting a car cover that doesn't say BMW on it. Something like this

I purchased the genuine MINI Protective Boot Space Cover (for 2002 - 2013), PN 51470140121, for this same need. Some of the latches and loops don't meet up perfectly (because it's used on a number of different models) but the fit is fantastic. There's even a flap that folds down to hang over the bumper so the dog doesn't scratch the paint getting in and out of the boot.

Looks like this has since been discontinued, but there's a number of places that make customer covers with the same functionality, although they can be quite pricey.

Good luck!

The downvote hurt. Since the joke wasn't well received, carry one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Bestop-81041-09-Charcoal-Wrangler-Unlimited/dp/B000VL9WTS

Sorry about that, fixed the link. Don't rule out 3rd party alarm systems, everything Polaris is expensive and not always the best choice, so my advice is to do your research.

That includes covers.

This is the cover I got for mine : https://www.amazon.com/Budge-Barrier-Sedans-Waterproof-RB-2/dp/B004SSAFM8/ it fits even with a top on it. Heavy wind will take it off unless you strap it down though. I keep mine in a carport, so use the cover to keep dust off mostly and the occasional blowing rain.

Found while looking for mine. XV love!

So I initially bought two of these:
http://www.amazon.com/Mopar-Decal-6-White-Sticker/dp/B00815EAUC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382491469&sr=8-1&keywords=mopar+decal

But the picture was deceiving and I failed to read the description and they turned out to be white which doesn't work with my scheme.

I ended up with two of these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/190787480357?var=490128878110&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

The white decals I bought I feel were legitimate licensed MOPAR decals as the font on the black set I bought seemed slightly off. Not a huge deal, I just couldn't find "legit" versions of the original set I bought that were colored black

Applied the decals in the triangular area between the front and rear doors (on a 4 door JKU obviously).

Unfortunately I'm in a shared garage that will not allow that type of thing :)

But maybe thinking about a disposable cover that doesn't actually put any weight on it like these: https://www.amazon.com/Bulk-Lot-Disposable-Temporary-Automobiles/dp/B00GZIJDZ4/

Since it's stored inside and you wash it weekly, you will have substantially lower dirt on your car than most vehicles. That being said, an outdoor storage cloth will help for the days that you park out in the sun. That being said something like this would do you just nicely. It even has locking grommets so you can lock it to your car to ease your mind from vandals/thieves. It's just a deterrent, but it helps me sleep at night (I have the same cover)
