The wool balls work more better, I've tried both.

It looks like a very worn out Bounce bar .
The idea is you put that thing in your dryer and you don’t have to use dryer sheets. But you have to change the bar when it looks like that.

I remember a post or thread from a few weeks ago about how dryer sheets can cause acne and that dryer balls are actually better. I was shopping around and stumbled upon these Bounce Free and Gentle Dryer Sheets. Would these be alright to use instead or normal sheets or is it better to just give up on dryer sheets as a whole and switch to dryer balls?

Amazon for $8 😁 they're in the dryer with a load right now, I'll report back with how I like them!

Edit: They seemed to work really well!

Don't worry, the wool ones also come in Penguin and Sheep!

Anyone know of something one can replace dryer sheets with?
🤔
Actually did a quick search on amazon and found this
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D7Z40N2/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_svbOBbRMMQCXM

Seems like a good option I think!

I have a quite similar story from very recently. We use the dryer quite a lot (once each day) and I recently had a WTF moment.

My wife bought wool balls for our dryer ( https://www.amazon.com/KINTOR-Softener-Hypoallergenic-Unscented-Chemical/dp/B01M4MJ9Z9/ ) and I don't really understand why, but they cut down the time the driver needs by half. From 2.5 hours to a bit more than 1 hour. That saves us like 50c of electricity for each run! Which is a whooping $150 per year for an investment of a few dollar.

Honestly, no idea on the brand. I'm pretty sure it was an impulse buy when a family member was looking around Bed Bath and Beyond or something.

These look like the packaging when we got them but they might be totally different.

excited for the bomb? your bomb list looks pretty good!

also my guess is that your favorite animal is a platypus.

$10 thing from your list- because these socks are adorable!

I get any that are "Free and Clear". I also sometimes will use wool dryer balls.

Edit: you may want to ask this over at /r/moderatelygranolamoms, too.

I got one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Dryel--Dryer-Cleaning-Starter-Kit/dp/B003EMOE8U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1422017720&sr=8-2&keywords=dryel

The initial kit is a little pricey because you get the garment bag and the spot cleaner. The refill kits are a bit cheaper. You can throw like 4 or 5 sweaters in at a time.

We have three dogs and three cats and LOTS of hair. We bought some wool dryer balls from Amazon and they have drastically cut down on the hair. Bonus: they're good for the environment and you're not buying dryer sheets anymore!

I don't have any overdue library books.

I have a couple add on items under $10 throughout my wishlists. Here is a link to one that'd be really useful.

Have you tried this organic wool dryer ball?

Iconic is it's made from New Zealand.

u/shittylyricist · 1 pointr/explainlikeimfive

You could use something like this product and get a pretty good result.

I've found that this does not remove oil stains, so you should do some spot treatment for those.

If you wanna be cheap, just do like me and get two hard [washing machine balls] (https://www.amazon.com/Washing-Machine-Softener-Ball-Chemicals/dp/B07CZK8Q6X) and roll your soles on it. Best feeling ever.

Dryer Balls and essential oils FTW!

I'm pretty sure everyone is messing around and really knows those are dryer balls, right? Used to aid in drying clothes in a dryer. Under $18 on Amazon...
