Definitely get her evaluated by an endocrinologist. If there is no underlying issue to treat, and she is still bothered by the excess hair, you could try a hair removal mitt. The hair will grow back, but it's an alternative to other harsher treatments.

Fair warning, all the depilatory creams smell awful and do a "test patch" on the thigh before covering yourself in it. Just in case you have a bad reaction 😬

I’m a WOC and I switch between Nair and threading. I used to be so against Nair for some reason but it’s super convenient and cheap! Your hair also doesn’t need to be a certain length for Nair which is really nice. One thing I’ve encountered with Nair is that with this it starts to lose efficacy after about six months, which is still not bad at all.

Well to clarify, I use nair for most of my crotch region, and any of the hair left over I'll use my tweezer. Most of the hair will be loose and come off easily. (I do this in the shower)

I'll use the tweezers on my thighs and balls as well as my shaft.

(Part 2/2)

Face:

Foundation - Nars, Giorgio Armani, L'Oreal, and Elf cosmetics (Elf is one of the cheapest and best drugstore foundation out there!) have really good ones!!! ...If you want something that makes you glow, get a sheer coverage foundation ...apply primer under and then some liquid highlight before applying the foundation - trust me, you will glow!!!

Concealer - Nars is the best or you can even try another drugstore holy grail that is cheaper by Maybelline to hide scars, breakouts or dark circles.

Blush - Milani has some really good blushes! So does Sephora brand or Makeup Forever.

Highlighter - this will definitely make you glow whenever the light touches your face!!!! Hahah, MAC and Anastasia Beverley Hills has amazing highlights. Wet N Wild also has very cheap highlights for like $3-5 that are blindingly glowing if you spray some MAC fix plus on your brush and then go in with the highlighter!

Makeup tools:

Really good to have some starter ones to practice with and they make your makeup look better + you waste less makeup.

Elf cosmetics and Real Techniques has some amazing starter brushes... the eyeshadow brush set and the face brush set by Real Techniques is really good for the low price you make for it!

Perfume: Definitely go to Sephora and try out every one of them (sometimes Amazon has sales on luxury perfumes for less!).

Fashion: ASOS, Forever 21, Mango & Target has some really cute pieces of clothing. Check Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration!!! :)

Other: Get the men's Gillette razor has the other person mentioned!!! It is bomb! Haha... I use conditioner or coconut oil down there when I shave.... it's better than shaving cream and it prevents the itching and stuff! lol For legs, I use Nair Hair Remover Lotion (Amazon usually sells 3 a pack for like $15 - really cheap!!!) or Gilette shaving cream for women! Also, don't do this always ...it can damage your teeth, but once in awhile, it won't hurt your teeth... take baking soda and water, make a paste and brush your teeth with it... your teeth will have that instant whitening effect. Don't do this always, but you can definitely do this when you do to those fancy occasions and you gotta make your teeth look sparkling white! lol, works like a charm! :)

Hope that helps!

They make Nair products for the face. I use something called Nads...ಠ_ಠ It's a legitimate product I swear! I leave it on for 10 minutes, then wipe off aggressively with a strong towel. I have to do it every 3 days though so I'm hoping to do laser hair removal surgery when I have enough money.

I hope I can help :)

  1. I use a Schick Intuition razor, they're the ones that have the block of lotion on the end and they work really well. I have pretty sensitive skin and they don't irritate it
  2. When you're shaving your vag it's really important to remember that you need to run the shaving blade in the direction that the hair lays down (run your finger down/up if the the hair lays flat when you run your finger then that's the direction you should go in) and it's going to be different all along your pubic area, just try to go in the main direction for each area of hair. This helps a lot in preventing ingrown hairs and such.
  3. Lastly when I'm done shaving I always spray on this Noxzema Bikini spray and it works really well.

p.s. This is awkward to say, but if you want to look I have pics of my vag on gonewild, if you want to see how well my routine works haha 0_o sorry if that's an awkward offer

    Good Luck :)

I present to you, the solution: http://www.amazon.de/Veet-Normal-Removal-Cream-Jasmine/dp/B001DUUPMO/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1420469401&sr=8-8&keywords=hair+removal

Put it on, wait for less than 10 minutes and then just wipe all the hair off while taking a shower. Perfect! Enjoy a butt without dingleberries and get monster farts for free!

u/DasHylen · 1 pointr/askteenboys

yes! NAIR saves lives, here i got it and never worried about hair again.

u/Pheobeh1 · 1 pointr/Fibromyalgia

I do it in the bathtub. Not as much bending over. If the allodynia is too much, I might use icy hot on my legs first to numb them. There are also these things:

I use this. There are a lot of different brands. I love it, my only real complaint is that when you have REALLY long hair, you really should shave first because it makes it much easier.

Easiest way is to shave but I prefer bikini area nare. Spread on the cream, few minutes later wipe off the hair, completely smooth. Veet also has a sensitive hair removal. https://www.amazon.com/Nair-Sensitive-Bikini-Cream-Remover/dp/B004WLL0Q6/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=bikini+nair&qid=1554210147&s=gateway&sr=8-4

I use a hair removal cream on my "lady stash" and between my eyebrows. It basically dissolved the fine hairs [burns them off]. It costs $6 and lasted me over 6 months. Works great as it's easy to use as long as you follow the directions [can't leave it in too long or take it off too fast].

I've had similar problems and recently gave up on shaving and bought a bottle of nair. This kind specifically, because it's supposed to work on thick, coarse hair. It's worked really well for me, there are occasional hairs left behind, but not nearly as many as when I shave and it's never burned me. You do have to put it on pretty thick, but a bottle will still last long enough to work on a budget.

Try in shower hair removal cream. No one will even know.

I've gotten it from both Target and Wal-mart in the men's shaving section. Sometimes they're out of stock for a while. Cost is about $7 US. Amazon has it (affiliate link). Even though it has some bad reviews I have not encountered any of the issues the reviewers had. But YMMV and it sounds like it's worth the risk for you to take.

Laser surgery for someone like us is about $25,000 and it takes multiple sessions to accomplish it. It's not a great movie, but you can check out the movie "Mansome" where they talk about a wrestler, Daivari, who has to shave basically every single day to look good on TV.
