TBF... He's just explaining to you what could be done better! I agree that you pull the bars up way to much! I do it sometimes and it is poor technique. You do land with both your wheels almost at the same time but it isn't that smooth.
>that jump line has the only jumps within a 4 hour drive of my house

Go shut their water off at the curb whenever you like.
Edit: you will also probably need a wrench of appropriate size, as the lid usually has a bolt on it.

An entrenching tool, typically one of the military folding shovels.
Don't get a cheap one, the welds will give out the first time you try to use it.
This Gerber model is expensive, but very durable.
Pessoalmente costumo recomendar este aos meus amigos.

I think manually using a tamper would be sufficient. Unless you're driving a heavy zero-turn mower on it regularly, that should be fine.
If you really want to experience shovel bliss, get a forged shovel. Most big-box store shovels are stamped from a piece of sheet metal and have to be angled for structural integrity. The geometry is completely wrong for digging.
Get something like an Ames Pony and you will never want to touch a "regular" shovel again.
Oh that reminds me! You're going to need this... for when we start the new wing :-|
:D I kid hehe. I only drug people when they won't talk to me :D
You could cut the grass into squares with a shovel or sod lifter, remove the sod/grass, fill with soil or sand and then put the grass back on top and keep it watered so the roots can take a deeper hold again.
I gotchu son
I love the music in that video, it makes it sounds as though they are digging for victory.
I actually used to own a similar shovel as a kid, you could press in a pair of spring-loaded rivets and it would swing and lock into axe mode.
This looks like a cheap knock-off of one, I am sure there are better ones out there.
The only worry I would have is redundancy; if you use one tool as three and it is broken/stolen/lost, you're overall capability is very dramatically reduced. Of course, if you are carrying too many tools you might not be able to grab the one you meed fast enough...
Moving sale! Got fired from my job and now I'm going back home so I have a lot of odds and end type shit and some furniture I want to get rid of. Prices are fixed, but only because I'm already lowballing everything because I just want to get rid of it. I'll post pictures of the actual item based on interest.

The type of metal detector and tools you need are all dependent upon what areas you hunt and your budget.
For instance below is my rig and budget:
Minelab E-trac with Sunray X-1 probe ~ $1100 (used price)
Lesche T-Handle Shovel - $69
Knee pads from Lowes - $20
Pouch for finds/trash - Got mine for free somewhere. Probably get one for $10.
As you can see the detector will make up the bulk majority of your budget and if you don't have something like the sunray probe a pinpointer is highly suggested as it will save you a ton of time. I would say my favorite piece of equipment by far is the shovel I linked above, it's a godsend.
What budget do you have to spend? There are plenty of great detectors for 1/5 of the price of the E-trac I listed.
Don't have any experience with this myself

Kill the zombies by shooting them in the head.
Which is what I wrote you doing to Sontarans in a story I was writing for another contest, only I didn't finish in time, which sucks. But, yeah. Like /u/courtneyrae427 said, go for something else. Water is good, but a limited water supply won't get you very far. Get bags of charcoal and sand to make a water filter. I just... can't remember if you boil it then filter it, or filter then boil... Ah, well.
Ooh. Don't underestimate the utility of a good knife. A heavy, blunt object is good, too, because not only are they great for bashing heads, you can also use them as hammers/mallets. Also, an entrenching tool is far more valuable than you might think.
No problem, and it's soo much easier. https://www.amazon.com/Corona-General-Purpose-Trench-Shovel/dp/B0007LXTT6
What I've used in the past:

A tamp like so
Stiff clays are always a pain in the ass
