As a rule of thumb if they don't show the whole wig on the mannequin, don't trust it. Bonus if they show someone putting on the wig and slaying it.

Thank you!! I got most of everything off of amazon because I had a gift card! This is the wig and these are the boots! The only thing I did to the wig was cut it, but I weathered the boots with acrylic paints and fake blood, and folded it down and painted the edge too! The knee pads are just scrap pieces of pleather :)

Most don't scrutinize whether hair is real or not if it's a semi-natural color, black included. I recommend FreeTress and Melody Susie Wigs.

I've found several decent corsets on Amazon. I think an underbust corset would look nice on a short woman...or even a waist cincher.

It is also not steel boned so it is a little more comfortable than a more expensive corset. Pair it will a nice black garter with black fishnet stockings, or Cuban heel stockings. A black velvet choker, and even a cute wild colored wig. And of course, wear dramatic makeup. I think you'd be amazed at how sexy you'll look. I am super insecure and self conscious of my body, but when I get all dolled up for my husband, lots of my insecurities go away. Wine helps too :)

Get one of those foam or plastic mannequin heads. It would fit perfectly in there!
